Overall good place and the pizza was amazing. Would recommend getting reservations to avoid the wait or having to eat outside. Service was friendly and fast. The meatball appetizer was a bit disappointing as the meatballs were fairly dense and not real juicy. Everything else was great and definitely want to try pasta next time.

My family and I came here for our birthday and had the BEST time with the BEST food!! Starting with the food- We had multiple things from the menu and every single thing was amazing. Hands down the best Italian food I have ever had!! Second with the wait staff- Turns out our waitress was the owner, she was smiling the whole time and I mean the whole time, every time I looked at her she had a smile on her face! Her energy was contagious and made the experience so much better. The whole staff went above and beyond to make it a great birthday and overall experience. Without a doubt I will be back! We were super impressed with every single thing from the food, environment, staff!! Thank you Chiara for the best birthday dinner and for your contagious smile and energy!!

Be prepared to wait for a table. We arrived on the earlier side (5:00) for dinner and there was a 1 hour wait for 4 adults & 2 kiddos. I have a feeling there is a wait most days as it is a small restaurant.

What can I say about Impero Italiano that has not been already said in the reviews? This is a wonderful establishment in the West Houston area! Impero Italiano hits the mark across the board for excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I do prefer the pizzas over their pastas but I need return to try their other dishes. Their dishes are not as heavily seasoned or as fatty compared to other Italian restaurants which I’m perfectly fine with. Highly recommend Impero Italiano! My new favorite Italian restaurant in Houtson!

Had an excellent experience today at Imperó. While there was a bit of a wait, the service and quality of food more than made up for it. From a distance the restaurant may appear unassuming, once you step inside it’s almost as if you’ve stepped into Italy. They are currently very busy so please pack your patients and they will treat you to authentic Italian dishes soon enough. We cannot wait to return.
