This is our family spot for a traditional Chinese restaurant meal. The place isn’t fancy but well kept. The owners are there and they take care of the place. The servers are quick and courteous. We have been there several times and service, food quality and taste have been consistent and good. We always go back!

I’ve been searching for a new place to grab Chinese and this has been the best so far. They serve pretty good portions for take out so I was pleased by this. I played it safe with my options this time. Shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. Definitely met the standard. My only disappointment was that my crab Rangoon lacked crab but it was still tasty. Will definitely try other options and hopefully will turn this place into my go to Chinese spot.

My go-to Chinese place! We have actually never eaten in there, we always order delivery. I live 15 mins away and the food always shows up extremely hot (like burn your hands hot) every time, as if its just come right out of the kitchen in house.

We went to Imperial Garden & Grill because of the reviews but we were both a little underwhelmed. It was clean and the waiter was very nice but the food was average. Also, one of the staff was asleep at a table across from us with his head on the table. I realize he must have worked hard but maybe there should be another place, out of view, of the patrons.

Sadly, the water glass was yellowed, service was lackluster even without being busy, restaurant is dirty, dishes are old, food was over sauced. Had a stomachache after…

My wife made reservations because Chinese food on Christmas Day is tradition for NYC Jews. I was skeptical, reservations for a family restaurant on Christmas Eve?? When we pulled up I knew this was going to be good! Nancy was waiting for us, we were 10 minutes late! The food was spectacular. Ordered far too much. Pupu platter pictured with crab Rangoon hidden, hot and sour soup, ginger duck, generals chicken. All top notch and leftovers for lunch the next day. Never been but will be back, Merry Christmas!

Pricing is average. The food was also average. I ordered the sizzling seafood delight. I found it to be just ok. The broccoli was very well cooked, but the mushrooms were clearly defrosted in a microwave oven. The taste and texture gave that away. The mini corn probably came out of a can…the taste gave that away. The shrimp was waiting well cooked and had a good taste, but the scallops were not well cooked and tasted like they had been frozen a while.

The lady at the registrar over charged me for the shrimp fried rice I bought. She told me one price then when I paid with my Amex card she asked did I have another form of payment and I said no. She then preceded to over charge me without telling me. She thought I didn’t realize what she did and then I asked for a receipt she just wrote the total on a piece of paper. Needless to say I WON’T EVER BE BACK HERE! This is unacceptable!

I just went back for Saturday lunch after 3yrs. They didn’t disappoint! The food was as great as it used to be. From the appetizer dumplings, soup to Orange Chicken entree. Our waiter was quiet but nice. Highly recommended Imperial Garden.
