In general I like the Illiano’s chain. The Colchester restaurant is my least favorite. I have had food under cooked & overcooked. I have never had those problems at the other Illiano’s I’ve eaten ate. My son was h a pay with his meal & it was his suggestion to eat there when Maria’s was closed on Mother’s Day.

Pepperoni pizza dough wasn’t cooked. I did not notice that until I was down the road. Pepperoni was laying on top of cheese and not like traditional pepperoni. This was my first visit and I am sure it will be my last. $25 for this large mess was way off the scale.

Been going here for years and I’ve liked it until more recently. The quality of food has severely declined in the past 1-2 years. The garlic knots with extra garlic are still worth it though.

I bought take-out for 3 of us. Calzone was ok but on the pricey side, Buffalo wings were awful, very dry… and last but probably the best item was my pizza . I personally won’t return….

I was disappointed a few mths back and decided to give this place a 2nd chance. I regret disappointed again. Simple order. Staff seems confused and no help from “the back” too many places to get pizza / grinders in the area…I don’t recommend this place and I am not be back.

Long time customer but no longer. Something changed drastically this last year. In the last few months, I’ve ordered a meatball grinder twice. The first time there was little meat and instead a jar of roasted red peppers hiding lack of meat. It was a soggy disgusting mess. Mistakes happen so I tried again tonight. This time, again no meat. Paid for a large grinder but got a grinder with only the meat of two meatballs. Each was cut in half so there were 2 pieces on each side and again hidden by peppers and cheese. Disgusting. That is not appropriate for the cost. Peppers are gross. Pickled peppers aren’t roasted either.

It was very disappointing. I’ve been to other Illiano’s and I’ve never been disappointed. We had pizza half hamburger and half sausage. It tasted blah. Definitely needed some garlic or some kind of spices. And it was very skinny it was not much on it. Well I know not to go here again.

Driving thru Colchester.. Stumbled upon this great restaurant. Google reviews were good decided to try.. No regrets!!! Yummy food.. Great service!! Had a meatball grinder and chicken cutlet grinder. And mozz sticks… Very good. Wish I lived closer!!! Excellent!!
