Ended up sitting at the bar for a cocktail and instead of moving to a table we sat at the bar for our full meal.

I gotta say, we’ve been planning to come to this restaurant for quite a while and we heard great things about it.

Really great food with talented staff. Plate presentation was nice and the atmosphere was also lively. My mother would not approve of the pricing as she would insist that she could make it better at home for a 10th the cost, but that said though the food was very close to authentic with limited exception.

A gorgeous restaurant with a full menu of delicious eats! Service was quick, efficient, and professional, the bar has a mix of cool cocktails at the usual $19 DC crazy price, and the menu is great for family style sharing. Three of us shared the mixed plate with lamb and beef sausages, steak, chicken, and lamb, and everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. We added baba ganoush, easily the best I’ve ever had, and they provided the most delicious bread. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Beautiful place for dinner and drinks. The food was superior in comparison to another DC Mediterranean restaurant that is so highly rated contrary to our experience. Only suggestion is adding more flavor to the jalapeño hummus and grape leaves— the leaves were flavorful but missed the “zing” of most stuffed grape leaves I’ve eaten. We squeezed lemon juice on top and it made a huge difference. Same goes for the hummus, although still lovely. The Brussel sprouts were half warm and half room temp. The pita bread was PHENOMENAL. Very happy this restaurant doesn’t over salt their food.

We went to ililis for our anniversary dinner. The service, atmosphere, and aesthetic was beautiful. Unfortunately, I can’t justify the cost of the meal as the food was okay and not something I would pay this much for. The local kabob places have much tastier kabobs than here. The desserts here were phenomenal, though. The knafe and baklava were extremely delicious.

Best Lebanese food i’ve ever had outside of Lebanon. They stick to the traditional recipes where needed and add their own personalizations in to others where appropriate. Great ambiance and the service is the right speed to be able to enjoy it. Wine selection is fantastic although pricey and cocktails are delicious. Definitely get the hummus with lamb and tabbouleh because they make it the correct way #SaveTabbouleh

we love their pita so much that we end up refilling it, and our server was friendly. The food was fresh and delicious although on a pricier side. I highly recommend ‘camp fire’ cocktail which has a rich chocolate flavor and a perfect balance of liquor that matches my taste perfectly.

Ilili is really something special. The service is top notch. The cocktails are stunning. The food is exemplary. Go for the amazing octopus or endives with figs… Stay for the cocktails, lush and vibrant interior, and the dessert menu. You won’t be disappointed.

Got the hummus with added jalapeños, fresh baked pita, Grandma Marie’s Lebanese Toast, Shakshuka, Rosti, Sfeeha Danish, & Swiss Chard Benedict. Amazing food, boho atmosphere and service! Great brunch vibes. At one point, there were 6 staff members at our table serving dishes, removing plates, filling water, and cleaning the table mid meal. 5 stars!
