Verdi is a great restaurant and the new location with ocean views is amazing. But this new location is not without hiccups. We spent over two hours at Verdi (and it was not by choice). I usually like to dine under an hour. It was incredibly slow, but our waiter did his best to offset the wait with his really welcoming personality. And the food is delicious, but at the price, that should be a given.

Get the gnocchi!! It was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Service was excellent, thank you Mark for making my dining experience a great one. Adding this place to my must visits in Atlantic city!

We were seated right away, and our waitress came over to us right away. All of the food we ordered came out in a timely fashion. My only real complaint is even though the food was good and well presented. It was pretty expensive for what we got.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The salmon with the Susanna sauce was amazing. Loretta was our server and she really made our entire experience the best. We’ve had her before and will continue coming back just to see her.

Pretty restaurant; weird that wall art was illuminated but it somehow worked. Service started out a little stiff but got better in the end. We had a late reservation and weren’t that hungry but still wanted to try the food. Not sure if that’s why the server seemed non-engaging or was just had a long day and ready for his shift to be over. Food was really good. We tried the shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, the gnocchi, the ravioli, fingerling potatoes, risotto, and the crème brûlée. It’s worth mentioning that we were pleasantly surprised how good the risotto was, considering it’s a side dish and they give you a decent portion. Will definitely return.

This restaurant is definitely worth going to. Everything was amazing. We ordered the surf and turf, salmon, ravioli, cold antipasto, fried calamari and i had a lobster dish that wasn’t on the menu because my wife had the last surf and turf. Our waiter Jose was very good he was on point with our service, he was very friendly and attentive. This diner was probably the best we’ve had here. We will definitely be back. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Lives up to the stars! Our waiter Bill was probably the finest server we’ve ever had. Personable, friendly, attentive and an all around great guy. Food was top notch. The 28 day aged rib eye with truffle butter will make you forget all about the woes of the world!

First time here; there were 3 of us. This was at the “new” location and it was nice – great ocean view. We started with a round of fig Cosmos – I think this might be my new favorite! Everything was great! Chopped Salad was fresh, dressing light and tasty. My friends both had the rigatoni bolognese and they said it was excellent – nothing left to take home! I had the scampi piccata and it too was excellent. Pastas were all perfectly cooked. The shrimp was fresh and sweet. Servers were attentive and could answer all our questions.

First of all the restaurant is beautiful, excellent views and great decor. Service was very good and didnt feel rushed. I went there with my wife and son last Friday night for his birthday and we were not disappointed. The fig cosmo was delicious and my wife loved their sangria. They had a great list of wine by the glass as well. Typically restaurants have a couple of things that they do well but cannot master every dish. This restaurant is the exception. The octopus was tender and delicious, the gnocchi melted in your mouth and the broth of the steamed clams and mussels left you speechless. For main courses my wife had filet mignon, my son had a veal and crab dish and I had the pork chop. We collectively agreed that they might have been the best we have ever had for each dish. We had a couple of different desserts and they were amazing as well. The restaurant is not cheap but I believe you that you get what you pay for. I am a legitimate foodie and rarely post reviews on account of never truly being pleased or blown away. Il Verdi gave me true dining satisfaction. Eat at this restaurant as soon as you can, you will not regret it.
