Located on the main floor of Eataly, explore some of the greatest generational secrets of the Italian culinary world at Il Pastaio di Eataly, a fresh pasta bar. Meaning pasta maker, Il Pastaio offers fresh, housemade pasta by the bowlful, prepared daily by Eataly’s very own pastai who knead, roll, cut and form each shape from scratch according to artisanal pasta-making traditions. Savor a variety of Eataly’s regional Italian pastas, from the slow-roasted veal-filled agnolotti del plin of Piemonte to the saffron-enriched malloreddus of Sardegna, paired with a unique selection of Italian wine and beer by the glass.

Not sure why the reviews are so low for this restaurant. The $20 wine flights (white or red) are great. Standouts are the ricotta bread with truffle oil for appetizer. The ragu and bolognese entrees were good as well. Place gets packed and you can’t make reservations, so come early if you don’t want to wait.

The food was fabulous and shockingly reasonably priced as I often find most things at Eataly overpriced. They get to make fabulous dinners with the incredible groceries that they keep in their store. Italians even eat at Eataly in Italy and I think that is high praise.

Very authentic Italian pasta in a fun environment. We sat at bar which gave us a great view of the preparation of the food. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The Tiramasu was the best I have ever had. The shopping experience is equally amazing.

Dinner can be challenging on Movie nights, especially when you desire something delicious, healthy, and convenient, but Il Pastaio di Eataly, Dallas in North Park Mall has it covered. The open floor plan of the restaurant in the middle of the market feels friendly, and cosmopolitan. Although they focus on pastas, the warm staff quickly points out the other options on the menu, from salads to delicious appetizers. If time permits it’s the perfect place to linger a bit, enjoy a nice bottle of wine, and people watch. My favorite dish so far is the Gnocchi Ai Porcini, but it’s nice that we order a few things, and share. Of the 3 restaurants in Eataly Dallas, Il Pastaio is the one where we found the prices the most wallet friendly, but these aren’t food court prices, nor experience! See you soon! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Gnocchi was just a bunch of a cheese. Food is very overpriced for the portion size. Server got mad at us for eating the food we purchased from the store.

This place used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in Dallas. However the last few times have been a rather unpleasant experience. New staff members are rude and carless. Food now always comes out cold. They put you on a long waitlist regardless of how empty the restaurant is . Then they did not want to accommodate us as a family and said they haven’t got seating for kids so we ended up ordering to goI used to recommend this location to a lot of clients now unfortunately I won’t be able to recommend this restaurant to anybody anymore. I recommend searching elsewhere for a better Italian restaurant experience

I’ve been to Eatly in Chicago as well and I will say it never ceases to amaze me. The atmosphere, the food, the people all phenomenal. Would highly recommend for cocktails and a bite to eat.

The portion was shockingly small. Please go somewhere else if you want real pasta!
