Great dining experience. Wonderful waitress, didnt catch her name, loud!!!! Definitely make reservations, it gets packed !!! This is real Italian food folks just like you get in Italy. Sauces aren’t red like American sauces so be prepared, more of a creamy texture, they are very, very tasty. Owners stopped & chatted several times. Very kind people & appreciate America has given them the opportunity to do what they love. All & all 5 stars. Very happy place.

I came here with my family for Sunday dinner, and it was good. We started out with the Eggplant appetizer and the meatballs, and they were both good. I am a big fan of eggplant, but the meatballs really stuck out, and the extra sauce was great for dipping the hot fresh bread. For my main course, I had a pizza with chicken and mushrooms and it was good. The chicken was tasty. The crust was thick and doughy. Also I am posting this after having the rest of the pizza as leftovers the next day, and the leftovers hold up well.

Wow, what a warm and welcoming atmosphere. To start off, there was a wait of an hour. I don’t think we even came close to that wait . My favorite was the riggies. The tiramisu and limoncello cake was a tie for desert favorites, and mozzarella was amazing for appetizer

A must visit Italian restaurant in Liverpool, the bread, the pizza, the pasta, the soup, the fresh homage mozzarella… who could ask for more! Il Limone is a place you you are going to want to visit by yourself or take people to for a great meal time and time again. I have yet to have a bad dish there and the staff is so helpful!

Pasta primavera has no flavor and the artichoke are hard and funny flavor to them

We went here for date night. The restaurant came highly recommended by a local eats group on Facebook and we were kind of surprised to find it inside a plaza in Liverpool. That being said, the restaurant was warm and inviting, love the decor inside. We were seated right away but we went at 5pm, when we left around 6ish there was quite the wait as the restaurant is fairly small inside. We tried the fried ravioli and the rolled eggplant appetizer. The ravioli was delicious but the eggplant rollatini was cold. Almost as if they make it ahead of time and didn’t fry it long enough for the middle of each roll to warm through. For entrees we had the chicken Marsala and the chicken franchise which were both the best we’d had ever. One thing I was disappointed with was their bread that comes with the meal. Homemade breadsticks which is great but they lacked any flavor whats so ever and the dipping oil they give you is just EVOO with some chunks of garlic at the way bottom. When you dip your bread in it all you get is oil, there’s no flavor infused in it at all. The prices were very reasonable, I paid cash to avoid the service fee for using a card. Pretty much every restaurant is doing that these days. Overall a good experience!

Food was bland. I order chicken Parm and it was bland. Chicken was burned from edges. Chicken was not seasoned properly and taste little dry. Chicken riggies taste like olive oil. I tried Chicken riggies in many places, but this restaurant is hell no. I ordered salad and croutons were burned. People who can eat anything might like this place. If anyone is really concerned about taste and too picky then avoid this restaurant.

This Italian cuisine stands above all others in Syracuse

This was a great dining experience. The staff was all very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions we had. We got to speak to the owners and learned a little bit about the business, this family use to own and manage an Italian restaurant in NYC before moving up here, so they’re no newbies! They also make their mozzarella fresh every day or 2. They give you breadsticks and oil with every meal and they are amazing, I honestly almost filled up on this alone. I ordered the Orecchiette Sausage and Broccoli Rabe and it was incredible. Everything was perfectly cooked and the flavoring on the sausage was incredible. I will say it’s a bit heavy due to how much oil they add to it, but it’s delicious nonetheless. I couldn’t recommend this more if I tried!
