Hands down one of the best Italian places in all of Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, etc. The food is authentic and fresh. Definitely try the bruschetta, pesto pasta and tiramisu! Service is top notch as well. Will definitely make this my go-to Italian place!

This place is AMAZING! This is our second time and they’ve only been open a few weeks. SO worth a 35-40 min dr. for us. The place is brand new and beautiful! Excellent choice of wine. Staff was great, bread was sooo good, meatballs are the real thing and their pasta is as fresh as you can get! All made daily on the premises. I highly recommend the rainbow chard ravioli but as a group we tasted a lot of things that were off the charts delicious! Can’t wait for the full menu. Especially the lasagna and the pizza. Some of the staff has been with Il Fornaio for many years, which to, says a lot.

I had the most delightful dining experience last night for date night. I love the new setup and ambiance. The menu had a wide range of classic Italian dishes that left me spoiled for choice. We started with Carpaccio and Fiori di Zucca, both absolutely wonderful. For the main course I had the Amatriciana pasta. It was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The service was lovely. Can’t wait to go back for another Spritz and to try the other dishes. It truly was a beautiful meal and dining experience.

The atmosphere and service are nice. But the seafood linguine i had was disappointing. The scallops, shrimps, and mussels tasted like they were from the type frozen bag of seafood mix you could get from grocery store. The scallops were still carrying slight bitter taste, no flavor, feels like not enough cooking through to get rid of that just-be-defrozen texture.
