So good! The food comes out so quickly, I’m not sure you’re even done ordering before its on the plate. Definitely a staple of Tulsa and of American cuisine in general. You get a feel of the stories that building could tell just from looking at the decor outside.

I went to Ike’s for a private party hosted by Len for a class reunion. The food was fantastic. I had great steak there. The staff was working their butts off and the cook came out and introduced himself. I threw $40 in the tip jar, and I hope everybody else there did the same thing! I’ll be going back as a customer in the future, probably every time I’m in town.

We love historic restaurants, so we decided to check out Ike’s, since it it the oldest restaurant in Oklahoma. Ike’s made its name with chili, I ordered a double of straight chili. I wanted the original Ike’s experience. Since the recipe is historic, I don’t want to judge it too harshly, but to my modern palette, it was not very good. As it came from the kitchen, it was so bland and flavorless that it wasn’t worth eating. There are containers of hot sauce, chili powder, red pepper flakes, salt and black pepper available on the counter. After a liberal dosing of all of them, it was okay-ish. The history of the restaurant is neat, the atmosphere is definitely that of an old local diner and the staff was friendly. Next time, I think I’ll go with a burger instead. My wife says hers was pretty good.

This is old school!.. stick to your ribs chili dogs. Fast and friendly service. Especially if your on lunch And in a hurry. Really a spacious big floor layout, two sides and counter space to sit at.

Their specials($7.99) are kinda good. On Tuesdays, they have burger, fries and a drink and thats the photo which I have attached(ordered sweet potato fries . But I feel their 3-way chili are the best especially in winter season.

Quick service in a true classic Route 66 joint. The chili is great and you just can’t beat the Three-way. There are also some chicken offerings if beef isn’t your choice. Plenty of parking around back and lots of tin signs and other memorabilia to entertain you.

It was really cool being in the oldest Diner in Tulsa. My grandparents, parents and relatives all ate at Ike’s. Excellent food, especially the chili.
