College bar! Long Island and rum and coke were very good, food was good but underwhelming. Dining room is clean yet not designed for comfort. Restroom had no lock on door and no seat on commode. Won’t make a special trip to go back.

Not great. They serve food, but it was slow and not worth the wait. The mixed drinks were weak. It’s only a place to stop if you’re drinking bottled beer and not hungry.

It is fine, large selection of food which is usually pretty good, kinda small but enough room to eat and drink. This is good place for a quickie. Get in eat, drink get out, no hassle.

Excellent bar and grill. Changed my perception of wraps for the better. The inside out grilled cheese sandwich is truly unique, and what you make of it. (ie: add hamburger/chicken/bacon/etc.) Specials posted online & inside, and some don’t change, like taco Tuesday. The kitchen closes at 9 every night except Sunday, which is 8. Don’t confuse this with traditional bar food. This place should be a priority if you live anywhere close. Get the pretzel bites w/beer-cheese and your beverage of choice while you peruse the menu.

Probably just dealt with the most uncomfortable feeling ever probably just got mistaken for someone that wasn’t leaving tips when I tip the waitresses plenty and kicked me out of the bar for no reason.

EIU alumni here…. Although the interior has changed over the years, the laid back vibe of this place has not. The Italian beef special was delicious. Enjoyed the pretzel bites too.

There is not enough stars to rate the food. I have spent my entire live in Charleston, and never had I been in Ike’s nor had their food. This all changed a few weeks ago. It is a clean, charming, older bar. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The food, I can not brag enough about. Typical of what you would think of as “bar food”… burgers, sandwiches, nice selection of appetizers, fries, onion rings, jalapeno poppers. BUT, the food is anything but typical. It is absolutely amazing! We were extremely impressed, and pleasantly surprised. My favorites are the thick cut and perfectly golden, onion rings. I like to dip them in Ike’s beer cheese dip. The Ike’s Bourbon Burger is literally one of the top 2 burgers that I have every ate. Perfectly grilled burger with your choice of cheese, bacon, and the most insane bourbon sauce. Thick, smoky, perfect sweet! My husband really likes the inside out grilled cheese w/ a hamburger patty added to it. He favorite is the jalapeno poppers with boom boom sauce. I just can’t say enough good thinks about the food!

Sat down around 540. We have been finished with our first beer since 555. Its 618 and no one has come to check on us. Waitress asked what we wanted to eat. Said we needed a minute and she hasnt been back. She left 5 minutes ago. This place isn’t been great for service.
