Pushing the new biscuit menu hard. Most disgusting flat and dry biscuits. IHOP has just gone downhill over the last several years. They want to boost business, but the food is just terrible. Can’t even get a good pancake since the death of cornmeal pancakes. Probably the one dish I would recommend is the crepes, specifically the bacon and eggs ones and the Blueberry lemon ricotta crepes.

Food was great! The cinnamon crepes were a little too overpowered with cinnamon for our liking. Benedict’s were good but the eggs were a little over cooked, more hard boiled consistency.

My husband and I waited over 30 mins for food in a restaurant that had 2 other tables. Our server came to our table 3 times and was neglectful to the point where one of the cooks in the back started to wait on the table and bring out food even though there were 4 other servers on floor. When our food finally got to the table you could tell it was under the heat lamps because the plates themselves were hot but the food was beyond cold. The eggs were super rubbery, the hash browns were burnt as well as cold and the bacon was extremely floppy. Also if you’re thirsty better get a coffee because they leave the pot with you and is the only way you’ll get your drink refilled because they won’t refill your water even if you ask.

I went in for breakfast. Have been to the Cascade Station near the Airport, Completely different atmospheres. Sherwood location had only one server who was working hrr tail off. Had to wait about 10 minutes. That us a management issue. It was quite busy. As soon as server had time, she took my order. Had to remind her that I ordered coffee. Once order got to me, I told her I ordered a strawberry Belgium waffle with whipping cream. which she brought the whipping cream to me. This young server needs another server. You will lose customers if you don’t. She was a very good server

Staff is friendly but very poorly trained. I have been here 3 times before I submitted a review and the experience was so bad each time I am now leaving a 1 star. It’s 100% on ownership and management. A good Manager that cares would make all the difference. The cleanliness is lacking and the attentiveness is horrible. The attention to detail is horrible. All three visits my food was not made correctly and funny enough they failed to give me half of what I asked for each time. Again, the staff is friendly and the potential is there but that place will remain a mediocre at best place you will regret going to until they get an actual hands on manager that actually cares about the guest. I went to the Sherwood IHOP today! While I was waiting I watched several servers picking food off plates eating instead of taking my drink orders. After being there 10 minutes, they sat a party of 6 right behind me and one of the servers that was eating food off plates ran over to their table, without washing hands, and ask them their drink order right in front of me! I found the closest worker and asked “who is my server?” and her response was “I am, but a hostess was suppose to take your drink order”. Well, I said I guess I am invisible cause he took the newly arriving people but not us! She was the one that seated me and helped to ignore us the entire time! I have been eating at IHOP in the south all my life and always had decent Waffle house type quick and consistent service, I knew that what happened in my first 15 minutes was a reflection of the entire store (front and back of the house), so I grabbed my wife and cut bait and went across the street to Shari’s.

They only had one waitress, and she was amazing! I expect delays with the lack of employees in the work world since COVID. Yet, all my herself, she sat, served, and cleaned up after every guest and in record time. The food was amazing, and she still found time to come by and see how things are. A+
