Limitless Trader
I recently visited IHOP with high hopes of enjoying a nice meal, but my experience was far from pleasant. The restaurant’s cleanliness was seriously lacking, with dirty chairs and booths that seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The overall hygiene of the place left a lot to be desired.

Very disappointed we got there there was nobody waiting we didn’t get checked in till 30 min after waiting by that time the lobby got full of people the host got there and was checking in other people I told her we were here first she got an attitude and got my name then another host came and called the party of 5 instead of us party of 4 witch was us , the person that was going to sit us was making fun of us because we were eating for a long time we ask him why did they sit the other person first when we were waiting longer then them and he said well I’m about to sit you now and was making smart remarks and my husband told him you don’t need to give us attitude we were waiting for a long time nobody acknowledged us and we are just asking you a question then he say as and walked of he said if you don’t like it go eat somewhere else the girl that wrote are names down was laughing and the rude customer service they give there I don’t recommend that place at all , we were leaving and host by the name of Tonya was so kind and told us she was going to be our server we were so upset that we were already leaving she told us have a sit I’ll help ya out today , so we did stay but I will never go there again worst service ever we only went for the kids and we were around that area

Very crowded on Sat, but I should admit the service was quick. I had better Pancakes at other IHOPs, coffee was good. The veg-burger was salty and had lots of garlic flavoring. Hash brown was good.

Great that it was close to where we were going. Service and food was great. Every now and then we could smell an odor like sewage but not bad. That’s the reason for 4 stars. Could have been from all the construction going on around that area.

Good food, but the waiters were a little passive aggressive. I understand it’s late and they might be overwhelmed by the amount of customers with low staff – but please be nice to your customers. We waited 1 hour almost to order and half an hour to get the check.

HATS OFF to the one young man who waited the entire restaurant by himself yesterday around 5pm, all with a positive attitude and manners. I counted at least 4 customer tables, my TO-GO order and another family waiting to be seated, and no one in the whole place to help him save a Busser and a cook. Where was management? Not sure. But this man needs a RAISE STAT.

When my friends and I went, there was only one guy there waiting on all of the tables that seemed to be a manager and I’m pretty sure his name was Joel. That being said, he was absolutely wonderful! He was very friendly, attentive, and efficient! These 5 stars go to Joel! ◡̈

There is no IHOP I would call great, but the one in Austin Texas is subpar at best. When I first walked in, there was no one up front to seat me. It’s not a major issue, but then it took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and another few minutes to be seated. There were 4 seated tables at the time. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He was professional, but how attentive could he be with 5+ tables. The menus were gross and clearly not wiped down in ages. I ordered basic scrambled eggs , sausage, and bacon. It was okay, but the sausage looked like small cigars and were about as thick as a crayon. No where near as good as I have had in NY. The place had the “going out of business ” vibe.
