Decided to give this place one last try. Previous visits have been unpleasant. This time was much better. Tried the new Strawberry Cream Biscuit combo. Would have preferred they not put maple syrup on the biscuit, but that was my bad for not noticing it in the description. Server was quick and courteous. Very few other customers, but it was an off hours meal. Will give it another go in the future.

We ended up at IHOP for breakfast because of their great marketing. My son and I had both seen the commercials for their pancake tacos and were intrigued. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted not by a person, but rather a funky smell. We decided to stay and order breakfast anyway. My son ordered the savory chicken and gravy tacos but I went with my old standby of chocolate chip pancakes. While we waited for our food we got to enjoy the ridiculously loud cartoons being played by a girl behind us on her tablet. It was loud enough that other customers would look in our direction to roll their eyes at the noise level. It would have been nice if someone in management would have noticed and asked them to turn it down. Once the food arrived, everything was good with the exception of the hashbrowns. Both of us had ordered them and they were slightly burnt. I will give a thumbs up to their fruit side – good variety of fruits and very fresh. Another plus – they do have sugar free syrup if you request it.

Arrived at 7:10 am and one other table was occupied. Waited 30 minutes for our food only to get it cold. The gravy is water based! Good news, the coffee wasn’t too bad. This place is open 24 hours so you would think they have all night to prepare for breakfast. Wrong, the bathroom was a disaster and the trash was overflowing. My wife and I have visited every single restaurant for breakfast in Springfield and this was by far the worst one! Wallpaper is pealing and the seats are tearing. Won’t be returning.

What can I say? I should know better than to order something other than breakfast at IHOP. I had the fried Chicken and it obviously was not freshly prepared. It had been cooked a while and had dried out. The person I was dining with had a wonderful omelette however. It was done exactly as requested and I was told it tasted great. The service could not have been better. I wouldn’t hesitate going back. Nice atmosphere and very clean.

If I could give a higher rating for staff friendliness & service, I absolutely would! My husband & I had Micah as our server & he was top notch. He was a true blessing to everyone that we witnessed him have an interaction with. IHOP should be proud to have him as part of their leadership because he definitely is leading by example. We will be back & hope he’s working. Keep up the great work Micah! May you be blessed like you bless everyone else.

Do NOT go here! They’re computer system is new, and no one can seat you in under 30 mins, then when you’re at the table, the waitress says it will be another 7 until she can take your order. Then she takes your order, and it doesn’t come, so you ask why it’s taking so long, and she says their cooks are behind. So many empty tables, and yet 20 people waiting to be seated. More than half the place is empty tables. Never going here again. Door dashers are waiting in line to pick up too.

Waited 15 to sit, which is awesome… but we waited 45 minutes for food as the waitress was triple sat with one table, a party of 8. As you can see, the waffle is cold, and the bacon was as long as my middle finger and thinner than my fingernails… waitress decided it was easier To give me scolding hot syrup to solve the problem. For my cold waffle not likely to be back any time soon period period.

We came in late at night after our softball game. It was probably 11pm. The place was half full, I think I picked up that some servers may have called in as the manager waited on us. The service and conversation was amazing. We were treated as if we were guest in their own home. The food was hot and quick. I would give the service 10 stars out of 5.

Who knew that IHOP had such delicious dinners?! We ended up eating here when we stayed at The Comfort Inn next door while our power was out for two days after a major storm. The chicken strip dinner on the 55+ menu was fantastic, with the Yellow and Green beans, Red Skin mashed potatoes, and Mac & Cheese sides tasting just like the best home cooking. Our server was super kind and attentive too! The experience felt like the comfort of home during a stressful time. Thank you, IHOP!

Normally, I love going to IHOP so I’ve given this location a few chances periodically the last couple of years. I have never had a good experience here. Despite clean empty tables you will wait minimum of 20 minutes to be seated every time. They can’t seem to find help. They rarely seem to have a host and on the occasion they do they seem to have no training. Waitresses are always mediocre at best. Doesn’t matter when you go, waitresses will make all kinds of unprofessional excuses for poor service. Examples being we were so busy today, no one has been tipping me today, i haven’t had a break yet etc. I once was paying my bill will a waitress was sobbing that a table did not tip. My last visit will be my last. Waited 20 mins to be seated. Was taken to a table covered in syrup when there was clean and unused tables all around. Asked for a high chair for my baby. They brought one with a broken buckle. Requested another and was told all high chairs had broken buckles. Management must not exist here
