IHOP going cheap. Ordered a fish platter. Says 2 fillets fish and 5 shrimps. The fish pieces were literally 3 inches across. Good grief guys, Youve cut the portions so small its ridiculous. You do remember that a fish fillet is the entire side of the fish, right? You served me a ration portion as if was all there was and had to divide it out amongst the people.

I have literally not been to an IHOP in almost 30 years. At least. I didn’t have very fond memories of either the food or the service. My memory was that of kitchiness. I am happy to say that the pancakes are far better than I remember and so was the rest of the food. Service was very nice. Can’t say this is for every IHOP you’ll go into but the one here in Effingham was great. Very happy we went and would go again.

Oder the big steak omelet with the hash browns on the side with pancakes with extra butter and butter pecan syrup to die for. Beautiful waitresses. Best breakfast in town.

First ever and last time visiting an IHOP. Our server was entirely too pushy. I’ve never felt so rushed in my life. I don’t understand the place wasn’t busy at all. I was in disbelief to begin with. I drove truck for 12 years. To my dismay to see that The standard diner was replaced by yet another expensive corporate sit-in. It was far way overpriced for the standard fair that you get. Anyway if I have time I would rather more detailed review

Mediocre food with mediocre flavor. Paula was a nice waitress, but the lady that handed us our food was dry and bland, just like my bacon. She had the nerve to get an attitude because my hash browns didn’t have onions in them like I ordered. I didn’t get her name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag- unprofessional.
