I enjoyed taco Tuesday here, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite. Service was VERY SLOOOOOW. No one was in any hurry to do anything at all, and it wasn’t busy. The chips and salsa and tacos were all good. The steak tacos had great flavor, but were a bit overcooked. We had to wait a while every step of the process. This was my first time here, and I will try it again and eat something different and see if the service is more ready for customers.

First off – let me say that this is one of my favorite places for Mexican food in Ozark. However, this trip was on the 4th of July and I think they were understaffed or short staffed. It was my birthday and we had a a few family members joining us so we splurged for the $15 table side made guac – which arrived after our meals were delivered and pre-made in a bowl . I’ll give 5 stars to their Watermelon Margarita. Not impressed with either option of rice this trip.

We love Iguana Roja–the food is fresh and delicious. The chips and salsa are SO good, the fairy dust on the chips adds to the uniqueness. We have not have anything we do not like–the pork has been our favorite meat for tacos and burritos. We tried the house ice cream and it was different than anything I have ever had. I would definitely recommend stopping by!

It was my first experience dining at this restaurant this week. Immediately upon walking it was very warm in the restaurant and uncomfortable.

Blackened Shrimp Burrito was awesome! My GF had the Pork Tamales; I recommend them as well! The chips and salsa were so good…the chips had been seasoned and almost didn’t even need the salsa! The Iguana Roja occupies a space in one of the historic buildings around the square in Ozark, and is very well-maintained inside. Only complaint would be that I had to wait several minutes for a refill on my drink, although there were only a couple other people in the restaurant. But, the waiter was really nice, and we definitely plan to come back. The food was great, prices reasonable ( compared to everything else these days ), and we even had to get a take-home box because the portions were so generous!

Best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Order the strawberry heat you won’t regret it! Great atmosphere. Adam recommended a beer I’ve never tried before and it was spot on! Highly recommend and I will be back for more

Good Hispanic food. Had the tamales and they were delish. Also had a diablo sauce that was spicy (optional). They season their tortilla chips here which I haven’t seen anywhere else. It absolutely works. Very good chips.

We’ve been a fan of Iguana Roja for the last few years. Love the restaurant atmosphere and the food but the service has hit rock bottom. We bragged about the place to our friends and took them to dinner tonight. The place was almost empty and we stood inside the front door for ten minutes waiting for one of the two young girls to even acknowledge we were there, let alone seat us. They both looked completely lost. Then after seating us we sat for another 20 minutes before one came to take our drink order. We were given two menus for four people because “that’s all they had”. Three people were just wandering around doing nothing with maybe three tables occupied. Finally received our drinks and ordered our food. When it was delivered, they mixed up our burrito bowls. One was chicken, one was steak. We had started eating before realizing they were wrong. No offers to refill drinks. The good was not bad but everything else was and it was embarrassing to brag about a place and be let down like that. Doubt we will be back in the near future. I know help is hard to find but there were plenty of hands on deck tonight and they had obviously not been trained in customer service.

Neat little place on the town square. This was my first time going here and I loved the food. The chips and salsa were good and had good seasoning. I ended up getting a chimichanga and it was also amazing! The prices seemed to be a tad higher than other Mexican restaurants, but worth it. There was a lot of seating, a full bar, and plenty of options.
