We started eating at this Ichiban almost 20 years ago. For many years they were incredible…the sushi, the hibachi grill experience, all of it. Then they slowly got worse and worse. Prices went up and up.

This was our first visit to this location. Chef was very kid friendly. Food was GREAT!

I just fell in love with this location! My kids loved their filet, chicken, and salmon hibachi with fried rice! I absolutely loved my sushi plate with a glass of wine. So fresh and lovely plating! We will definitely return! So many memories with great food!

Absolutely fantastic Hibachi restaurant! My family has been to the Windward pkwy location a couple times but it was a huge disappointment… decided to give this one a try and we are SOOOO glad we did! The food was all super fresh, tasted amazing and the staff were all about making sure our drinks were full, our food was delicious and that we were happy with our experience. We had Collin as our chef, who was one of the best Hibachi chefs we have ever had. Thx Ichiban Avenues for a fantastic family meal!

Mid-week soosh date night at Ichiban was just what we needed to get us over the tax season hump! We almost always can walk up and find seating at the sushi bar. KC and the rest of the sushi chefs are top notch; creating tasty rolls with the freshest ingredients. We have experienced times when the restaurant has been short staffed (aka slow bar service) – but honestly what restaurant isn’t these days? This location also often hosts events to pair wine or whiskey with various dishes which are always a good time. So weather you are looking for a cozy date night or a place to meet up with friends that consistently delivers a 5 ⭐️ rating with their food – Ichiban comes highly rated.

We have been to this restaurant many times before and really enjoyed it.

Great service and great chef! Our drinks were all refilled before they were low, the salad dressing is really good, the soup was flavorful and delicious, the chef cooked our food to perfection everything was really good. The chicken, shrimp, filet, vegetables, and rice all had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. Our group of 10 never had one single complaint and that’s very rare for us. Highly recommend! Our chef was not only funny but he had some new tricks we had not seen before!

Atmosphere and service were meh, food was alright when I went. Recent reports that they’re forcing servers to pay for dine & dish make me feel like it needs a re-review.

It was busy on mother’s day, we ordered a steak and shrimp simple fried rice (not hibachi) waited 40 minutes to get it out the door. Food feels overpriced (menu online doesn’t display true prices). It was really mediocre fried rice. Barely any carrots or scallions. When we ordered the steak fried rice we weren’t asked if it was the NY steak or filet mignon, the bartender assumed it was filet, even tho we said steak, as the menu suggests. Definitely feel like it overall wasn’t worth it and won’t be coming back.
