Let me start by saying that I’m rating this place based on the quality of food, the flavor, and value for money. I would recommend this place for take out. The dine in experience left something to be desired. The service was fantastic but the atmosphere just isn’t there. I would love to see this little restaurant get a makeover because their food speaks volumes. I fed my partner and I for $40 and we got a TON of food. We got 2 sandwiches, 2 large drinks, and an order of fries to split. Their milk bread was toasty but soft and so delicious. The meat had amazing flavoring and crispness. The slaw was super good too. We enjoyed our milk teas, honestly this place is great. I would highly recommend and definitely come again.

Stopped by this little shop across the Chula Vista Mall. Ordered the Kimchi chicken sando, shrimp katsu sando, Large Thai iced tea w/ boba and a regular jasmine milk tea w/ boba. Both the sando’s were good and had a nice amount flavor in each bite. Daikon peices were on the side to clean the palate.

I walked in and there was a weird smell in there maybe from the decorations idk.. the woman at the register walked off when I walked in so I had to wait for her to come back before I could order.

This is an old review from February, but I really enjoyed the place. It’s a family ran business and they’re busy, so service is limited, but you can tell they care.

I really wanted to love this but I didn’t I got a spicy chicken katsu sandwich. The chicken itself was very good, but I had a hard time with the bread for some reason. Didn’t like the taste of it, I even ended up just eating the chicken and left some of the bread out. The fries were good!

The sandwiches are amazing and tasty. Also awesome customer services. The cashier was very informative for my first time here. She answered every question and gave me her suggestions on what to order. Definitely Will comeback again. The place is a little cramp inside if you plan to eat inside, as it is such a small building but nonetheless the service and food is amazing and highly recommended. These aren’t your everyday sandwiches. These sandwiches are amazing!!

What a great hidden gem in Chula Vista. I walked in and was greeted by a kind guy who asked me if I had any questions about the menu. He recommended the shrimp sando which is one of their best sellers. I ordered the chicken sando with wintermelon milk tea with boba.

Interesting sandwiches, but the bread was stale. The pork katsu was tough and dry, not tender and juicy. It needed some kind of sauce on it. The egg, spam and avocado sandwich was good, but not much spam. The best one was the shrimp katsu sando. Was going to order a musubi but saw they were just sitting on the counter, which isn’t a safe way to store rice.

small shop specializing in sandos. I think the brioche bun just slightly edges out the bread bun but it’s close. the shrimp sando > pork katsu sando for sure though.

@ichibansandosd has the acclaimed, “best boba in town.” That’s quite the statement. I had the try it for myself, of course. Those tiny balls had the perfect texture paired with a honey milk tea with a delicious sea-salt foam.
