I love this place. I got the yum yum roll without eel sauce. ( no pictures taken because I was starving ) and my husband got — *I think* — the Dragon Roll? These are by no means rolls that are dainty. They’re about the size of a Hardee’s biscuit. Even my infants loved eating from our plates, and they got chopsticks from one of the staff to play drums with. We will be back again and again!

Ordered a hibachi chicken and steak, got teriyaki chicken and steak. That was wrong. Ordered a hibachi chicken bowl and they got that right. Also ordered a hichachi chicken entrée with all the veggies and got ZERO vegetables. I called when we saw the order was wrong and the manager literally said “there’s vegetables there, maybe not as much as you like, but they are there” attached you will see the picture. There were NONE, ZERO. Then she proceeded to tell me she needed to see it, so basically you don’t believe me? I was over talking to her and the nonsense. Not going back. Not worth it. Flavor is okay, nothing mind blowing. She told me to go back and they could see it and replace it. I’m not doing it. Not worth it.

Great, authentic hibachi food. Definitely a place that I love to go when you’re looking for a quick bite. All of the ragoons, egg rolls and vegetables are cut and made by hand, so the food is always fresh affordable prices and one of my favorite local food or in the city

I have been getting the sushi here for almost three years and I have never had any issues or mishaps until today, but luckily it was resolved with thanks to the manager! I have eaten in, had take out, and had delivery from here and the sushi has always been fresh and the hibachi has always been scrumptious. Today, I had a grub hub order and when it was delivered, one of my sushi rolls was missing. I called Ichiban express, and the manager answered, and personally drove and delivered the sushi roll that was missing from my order. What amazing service! I highly recommend this place for reasonably priced, fresh and yummy sushi, as well as very good hibachi. I will keep on ordering from here as they have great service, fresh and tasty food, and are in a great location for me to order food from! Thanks for all your help Ichiban Express! 🙂

Such a great experience. The owner was very kind and both the owner and cashier were very patient as it was my first time visiting. They were able to answer all my questions, they gave me exactly what I wanted, they were extremely helpful. The restaurant had a great kitchen staff and both my sushi and my entree looked so delicious and beautiful. The entire environment was a very calming and peaceful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed and will be returning. I highly recommend this place. You get exactly what you pay for and I was surprised how inexpensive it was for the portions were generous. Can’t see why people have 1 stars on here. Wasn’t busy but the food came out super quick which surprised me Food was great. Great portions. Had the hibachi steak and shrimp. Steak was nice and tender and the shrimp wasn’t crunchy nicely cooked vegetables was good. Also had the dragon roll sushi good portion for the price. Great taste and display. For a whole in the wall type place definitely a 10 out of 10. Express in the name express it was loved it
