This place was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious. It seems like a traditional fare with few deep fried or cream cheese dishes. I loved the freshness of the fish and the caliber of the rolls. Our service was amazing and consistent. Our favorite was the quail eggs. We love these and these ones were fresh and presented well. Highly recommend!

Delicious food! We ordered specials of the day, which were ocean trout and local halibut. The fish was extremely fresh. Sweet and plump. Very well done tempura. The server we had was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was such a warm dinner experience. Would definitely comeback if we stayed longer in Seaside.

We were in the tatami room for two and ordered omakase. The chef is extremely creative and takes very good care of you! The overall service is top notch. I thought the dishes were fresh and interesting with impressive flavor combinations. I look forward to coming here again as well as recommending it to friends and family. Five stars!

A friend recommended this place to us and it’s a must-try! I ordered the Jo combination platter, and my husband got the Deluxe one. The complementary miso soup was good, not salty. The salad was good, too! The nigiri and rolls we’re excellent We also got fried gyoza and it was so crunchy and delicious! Authentic. Friendly staff. Fairly priced. Large portions. Good ambiance. Overall is two thumbs up Highly recommended.

Best Sushi on the Monterey Bay! New owner, son of the long time Sushi Chef is making changes. Same hospitality, makes one feel special. Sit at the bar and watch the show. The food never disappoints.
