This has been our favorite place for a casual dinner for years already. Friendly fast service in a small quaint spot. But the food… OMG the food! Made fresh to order, outstanding flavors with generous, not ridiculous, servings. I love the shrimp bento box with a taste of lots of things. Hubby likes to try everything. Truly though, it’s all about the sushi. Fresh and wonderful every time. Lots of choices made fresh!!!! Love it!

The food tasted great. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour chicken, a California roll and the Seattle roll. However I was completely grossed out by the floors. The picture shows what the floor looked like before we sat down. I looked around and it was the same under each table. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Other then that, the staff was friendly and the food came quick.

Excellent and attentive service, very nice people. Food came out quickly and was piping hot on a cold day. Got the tiger roll and spicy chicken teriyaki, wish the spicy level had been a tad more but the portion size was generous. Not a local to the location but I’d stop in anytime.

Well hadn’t been here in awhile, last time was when they had the 2 rolls for $20. When entering I noticed interior has changed drastically, no sushi images on walls anymore, and some major changes, found out that had a car crash into the restaurant, so that was explainable. Ordered the typical, 2 rolls, when I received my order I immediately noticed rolls have shrunk by at least 30-40%. Just look at some of the images posted of rolls 5 years ago, current rolls do not even remotely compare, also fish thickness has shrunk. So in my opinion that explains the reason all the sushi images were taken down because you would look at your plate then look at the images and ask yourself what the H. Maybe it’s not the fault of these establishments, perhaps it’s a consequence of post Covid inflation, where the combination of reducing portions and raising prices is the only way these businesses can profit. My sushi enjoying days could be coming to end.

I gave one star because as soon as we walked in (myself and 2 kids) the greeter of who ever she was was very rude. She rolled her eyes as soon as she saw my kids. She immediately asked if it was to go. I said no! It’s for here.she hesitated and kind of sighed. I turned around and walked out. The environment was horrible and the staff was trash.

This is not good food and sadly the food was not fresh. There was no smell of any food being cooked. We ordered chicken and we could tell that the chicken was re-heated with fresh vegetables and doused in store bought chinese sauce. Some chicken peices were older than others and none of it was heated evenly. It was noticeable and bad. Portions were ok, but the food was not good. I’d recommend Happy Teriyaki on the other side of Dupont. Their food is cooked to order and fresh. I will not come back to this place, it’s bad.

The place is kinda old and neat. Could use a little TLC in renovation. But the food and customer service is excellent! The only thing I regret is not having enough room to eat the Flying Dragon Sushi Roll…
