Just moved to Macon and passing by shopping in the are. The restaurant is a relaxing quiet atmosphere. The food was good not as much variety as seen from the pictures but good taste. Great service and our server Christine was excellent and we will be back but at an earlier time.

The food is good but nothing stands out. Country cooking should have flavour and not have to be heavily salted and doused in hot sauce at the table. The service was great prompt, and they kept the buffet full despite the large crowd. There was a large spill at the table near us and the staff reacted quickly without any hesitation.

Service always great. They treat you like family. Today was my son’s birthday and he loves it here. Food was awesome as usual. It’s all you can eat but please take caution not to enjoy it too much or else you’ll be sleeping there, or very miserably full of you can make it home, Lol. Always clean and comfortable only problem for me is they don’t have more locations I wish there was another one in Macon.

Food was good if you like it. Some I tried I didn’t care for. The place was clean and well stocked hot bar. The salad and dessert bar needed a bit of work. Waitress was excellent and positive attitude. Very welcoming and attentive. The cabbage was really good. Chicken breast was small and cut funny, maybe pully bone, and too dry. I had plenty to eat and enjoyed the salad and vegetables. The chicken had a good flavor too.

That is a nice quiet buffet. They serve all your home cooking favorites. Fast friendly service, the only thing is most of the food lacks much seasoning. Some salt and peppr usually fix this. I imagine the food is prepared this way on purpose to accommodate all guests.

Family Matters
When I am very hungry or have out of town guests, I thoroughly enjoy “I Love Country Buffet.” It’s a great place for any occasion, in my opinion. The owners and employees are thoroughly attentive. The dining areas and buffet bars are clean and comfortable. The restrooms are clean and appropriately accommodating. I find it to be an all around great choice in our small, central Georgia town of Gray. It is located very close to the main hotel and to two well-known grocery stores and other businesses such as drugstores, hardware stores, banks and gas stations.
