I’m giving Hy-Vee Market Grille 5 Stars because people need to know what a great dine in option it is. People don’t quite understand what it is because it’s in a grocery store. But think about what better place there is for a restaurant? We came to try the Big Dozier, and it was awesome. If you’re looking for a place to get a guilty barbecue sandwich in Kansas City for a good price, this is it. Hy-Vee is also a great place to get a decently priced salad bar, and sushi.

This mealtime pickup and delivery to the car at a designated parking spot is a joke. They do not answer the phone or come to the car to deliver the meal. I didn’t get any updates on the order for when it was ready and no information to let me know I needed to come inside to pickup my food. The person didn’t even know about the parking spots. I called the phone number 7 times and no one picked up. The food is better than the customer service but maybe not because they messed up the sushi order too.

The food was prepared great. From the presentation off each dish down to the taste of each dish. Very impressive how each dish was packaged, all that needed to be done is pop each dish in the oven, warm, and serve. So hassle free. Gold stars for the Hy-Vee Market Grille Express.

Worst bloody Marys I’ve ever had. Pancakes were good. Omelette underdone. Waitress was nice but very slow. And we were the only ones there. There are better places to go for brunch.

It was somewhat dissapointing for me. I usually don’t do reviews like this, but hear me out this time. The tater tots tasted a bit like cosmetics, the mac and cheese burger and the totchos are highly caloric, and I ended up with slight diarrhea after eating. However, the customer service, bacon, burger patty, and fries were decent.

The food here is very good. Service is a little slow, but always nice. Be sure to check out the monthly specials. Also a fairly good drink menu. The menu includes a little something of everything, pizza, Chinese, burgers, salads etc. Good kids menu too.

Breakfast was good. No alcohol until 9am…so no bloody Mary’s However, the lady that was helping us took out order, cooked our food and cleaned our table. Great service!!! Great food too and the portions were more than filling.
