Absolutely best breakfast spot in Kansas City!

Food was great. Service was very eager, polite and friendly … but they apparently were spread to thin with long periods of time without a table checkup. Food took a long time to be delivered, but the management made it up to us and was very kind in understanding our frustration. Understaffed it appears, especially for a Friday evening, but we did enjoy the food. Growing pains.

I had great service from Heather today and all the food was great at breakfast. They give you a cup of donut holes instead of rolls or biscuits, which I can totally get behind. The French toast melt was an incredible thing, the sweet and savory covered in raspberry or syrup was delicious. The texicana benedict was quite an interesting mix between Mexican food and a benedict. The egg wasn’t runny which was a little disappointing, but still delicious anyways. 10/10 would recommend visiting.

Not the place to go if you are in a hurry or hungry. Took them 35 minutes to bring us our order and then the food was so-so. The food was cold and the biscuits and gravy tasted like the milk was spoiled. Their only explanation was that they were training a new chef.

Michele at the bar was marvelous! She was on top of everything. Other than her service everything else was mediocre

Don’t order online! They never update what is available. I’ve tried 3 times and all 3 times half of what I ordered for my family was unavailable. Two of those times they charged me for all of the food only to get home and realize there were meals missing. When I called I was told they were out of those items. So I paid for something I did not receive and instead of telling me that up front I have to make a second trip to get a substitute item. The food is ok and the people at the counter are friendly but ordering online for pick up is a joke! The only reason I gave them 3 stars was because the person at the counter was friendly and did try to help make it right.

Very cool. Wonderful selection of entrees, cocktails and beers. Not loud like many restaurants– quite comfortable in all aspects. Cole, our waiter, was perfect– attentive, pleasant, and anticipated what we would want, even though this was our first time there. And, best of all, the prices were lower than we expected! Definitely want to go back for half-price sushi some Wednesday night!

This was my first time there. And I am willing to go back to give it another shot. We had a group of 10 so this may have played a factor in the service BUT… by the time we got our table we had prompt drink order service but the bar was very slow in turning anything out other than water or lemonade. Almost an hour after ordering food we started get our dinner before the salad and apps came out. Bar drink refills were again VERY slow. Luckily we had a great waitress who took the initiative to pour drinks on her own at the bar to speed up the drinks. THE FOOD… is the reason we will give the Market Grille another chance. My steak tacos were good, but seemed like they may have been sitting for a little bit and I’m glad I went with an extra taco as the chips were stale. I heard good reviews about the bottomless crab legs. Again, props to our server for keeping the crab on the table. Over all the experience was sub par. The table service was nice, due to our server. The bar service seemed to work at half the speed of smell. And there was long wait times once at the table. Cheers. J
