The wait staff was very friendly, the restaurant has a neat diner vibe. I was a little surprised at the portion size for the burgers and fries (on the small side but probably more healthy). The food tastes great. We were at the Tesla Charger and they were just opening at 11am. We needed to use the bathrooms and decided to stay for an early lunch. We opened the place up and everyone was friendly, that’s exceptional.

Retro Diner with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. Greeted on entry and quickly seated with introductions and a menu. The menu has a nice variety, but no hot vegan options other than sides.

The food was good but the service and sanitation were very poor. Our waitress (Brianna or something similar that started with a B) came out promptly to take our food and drinks. We ordered a milkshake with our food and although the food came out quickly, we had to wait 10-15 minutes for our milkshake during a time that wasn’t even busy. When we reminded her of our milkshake she stated ‘oh, you want that now?’ Even after us having to get up to ask her about our shake, she still took a while to bring it out and wasn’t sanitary at all. She had cleaned off dirty tables, high fived people and handled money and didn’t wash her hands before making our shake. She did remake it after calling her out on it but she made no apologies and even after speaking to the owner, no attempts were made to make the situation right. The strawberries and bananas had to be handled by hand and she didn’t wear gloves which is why we had requested her to make a new one. We did see the owner speak to the girl but in our opinion, more should have been done. Time is important to certain people and we spent too much time waiting for a shake that is easily made in about 3-4 minutes maximum. I know this because I used to work at a Hwy 55. I understand we can get caught up by helping the customers but I know by experience that other employees are more than willing to help if you’re tending to other things at the moment. By far, the worst experience we’ve had at a Hwy 55.

Staff very friendly and prompt. Food was very disappointing. I got the moose. Not sure when it was changed but its definitely not the same. Huge shaved style beef pieces with a mountain of pepper. Gross. Tots and shake were ok.

Amelia was amazing!!! My daughter has food allergies and she was completely patient and helpful in making our experience safe! Booths could use a little TLC but overall staff is friendly and customer service is awesome! We were excited to find hwy55 as the one in Raleigh closed and we were sad about that. Love this location, great experience all around!

Awesome place. The burgers were perfect and the ice cream is great. The sides were ok but thats not what i focus on. My little ones loved the kids meals in a car box. Really friendly staff and quick service. Go to place for a good burger!

Usually this location is ok on cleanliness, but today, not so much. The floor look as if it hasn’t been swept or mopped all weekend. Table felt dirty, other tables looked dirty. Bathrooms were terrible!However, Our server, Evan, was very friendly and attentive to us, probably the best server we’ve ever had there. Our food came out fast and was good as usual.

I have been here like 20 times in the last four weeks. This is not all my doing haha! Every time I come in, the staff is kind, attentive, and respectful. I appreciate the prompt service, good food, and friendly faces. I am picky about service because I worked in restaurants growing up. The bar is high for me. With that said, the Hwy 55 team exceeds expectations every time!!
