I would HIGHLY recommend this place. I recently had dinner here, and the whole experience was great! I’m not sure what’s up with the bad reviews. The service was great, and we weren’t ignored. I would say that the only issue would be their lack of staff. Otherwise, our party had no issues. We ordered the unmarinated kalbi, thin sliced beef brisket, black pork belly, and various soups. Everything was really good!

I recently had a very disappointing dining experience at a this restaurant. From the moment we entered, the server’s attitude was marked by a blatant lack of professionalism and disinterest in providing good service. Their rudeness made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. They charge 20% gratuity to your bill. To make matters worse, during the checkout process, the server stared at us with a judgmental gaze, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. The possibility of being discriminated against based on our race further deepened our disappointment.

Terrible service, the server made bbq for us and the food was nice unit she left without telling us if we can eat. Then the meat burned and our dish was ruined. Or maybe that’s how Korean people make bbq? Will never come again.

Wonderful meal and fantastic experience, the complimentary sides are great and the meat melted in my mouth! We will be back soon to try the brisket, make sure you go before 6:30pm if you don’t want to wait in line.

My wife and I decided to eat at this restaurant based on the good reviews but we were very disappointed with the food and service. We both ordered soups for our dinner and once it arrived the waitresses ignored us for the entire time we were there. One of the soups had beef ribs and it was so fatty that it required a knife and fork to separate the meat from the bone and fat but the two waitresses ignored us every time we flagged them to our table for a fork and knife. The ignored us so much we could have walked out of there and they would not have even noticed. Finally, after several attempts we asked for the check, paid and left. We will never eat here again. That is worst customer service we have ever experienced at a restaurant.

Was craving some Korean bbq so headed to Hwang Soh Grill. All the meats were delicious. The brisket was tender and meaty…not just fat. Glad we went for the pricier Berkshire pork belly. It was so meaty, juicy and flavourful. We got two orders, which was a lot for four people. The pork belly paired well with the fried rice that comes at the end.
