If you love northern Chinese food, this place is a must. In addition to their regular menu, they have a tasting menu I highly recommend. The portions are good, but allow easily for appetizer and main. You have to try the duck, it is the super star here. The drinks are OK, so I recommend their sake or old fashioned instead, but this really just very personal. The service was excellent, thank you guys for being so attentive. The ambiance also amazing. I loved the decor and the music. It was upbeat, but not loud, just perfect.

The restaurant is beautiful. The service is excellent. I had the Miami Spice menu… First two and the last courses are fixed. You choose the entree. It’s a decent deal at $60. I had way too much food. Some courses were better than others.

Our server Oliver was amazing! He took great care of our group during the brunch and made sure everything was to our liking. He was very enjoyable to talk to, along with our other server Erik, and they walked us through our amazing meal. Would definitely recommend coming here for the bottomless brunch, especially if you have Oliver and Erik taking care of you!

Stopped by to try dumplings. Ordered dim sum platter, prawn & scallop wontons and sweet and sour vegetable soup. From dim sum platter wild mushroom & spinach (green one) and pickled chili cod dumplings (orange one) were different from what I’ve tried anywhere else. The rest was just shrimp and prawn, ordinary. The platter price is $42 which makes each dim sum $5.25. I believe for this price dumplings have to be out of this world delicious and unique. The soup was good but also nothing I haven’t tried at other Chinese restaurants. White wine glass was staring at $17 which is quite on a higher side as well. However, the design, decor, food presentation and service are outstanding. Overall, overpriced Chinese restaurant, but probably compensates in experience – you cannot find many fine dining Chinese restaurants around.

Had a great meal in a group… Food was amazing… Crispy duck, soup wontons, lobster bao, the best dan dan noodles I’ve ever had and delicate calamari. Cheap it definitely isn’t, but its worth it for a treat. Service was a little hit or miss at times. For spicy szechuan chinese food you can’t go wrong here

Hutong is (allegedly) a Szechuan style Chinese restaurant, and this is why we were excited to come. However, it was not Szechuan style (not even spicy). The place is huge and finely decorated. And so is the food gorgeously presented. This is why it was huge disappointment that the food was just not as tasty as it looks.

I was the hostess of friends from China. They were delighted with the Peking Duck and the other dishes. We tasted no less than seven and they were all delicious. Also the desserts were great. The decoration and the atmosphere are impressive. The perfect staff service. Very good selection of wines.
