Nice little spot to get some lunch in downtown! Good options for seafood, especially fried options. I got the salmon melt, and the others at my table got the rockfish fish and chips. All were good, perfect after traveling a long distance in a car. The salmon melt was really flavorful, good mix of cheese and tartar sauce and salmon, but I did find a few bones in it which I had to carefully pick through so I wouldn’t accidentally swallow them. The fries were hot and fresh, and the service was quick and friendly.

Had the Albacore fish and chips and it was delicious….! While I waited for my food I ordered the Blue Hawaiian mixed drink and was pleased with the pour from my waitress/bartender! Great location, food is delicious and reasonably priced, even have a fresh seafood counter if you want to take something fresh home and the decor is Off The Wall! Highly recommended

Went in to get some crab and oysters. Ordered the Crab Louie, you are out of crab?? Settled for shrimp salad. Also got oysters. Oysters were under cooked, and nasty. Our waitress, Amanda, asked how they were, told her they were undercooked and not good. She said” I wish you would’ve said something before I ran your card”…Owner needs to realize this is 2023 and teach these employees that a credit can be given. We’ve come a long way in technology! As we waited for our food, an associate came in with a small dog in his right hand. He walked back into the kitchen, got a thermometer, set the dog down and with the same hand, but the thermometer into the fresh seafood case…with no gloves on! So many things wrong with this place.. go somewhere else!

The food here is overpriced, compared to other restaurants nearby and the waitress was late serving one of my colleagues his food. He ordered first before us, but once my other friend ordered his salad, that salad came out first before his. That’s absurd!

Had the Grilled Salmon Louie Salad. Can’t really go wrong with a salad but the salmon was grilled very nicely and had good flavor. Dressing came on the side, which is nice. Allowed me to dress to my preference and not risk being flooded in dressing. Staff was very friendly. Small and quaint on the inside.

We were driving through today on our lomg trek home and decided to stop here for some lunch and we definitely were not disappointed. I got the crab melt and my husband got the rockfish & chips and we got the crab stuffed mushrooms as well… all of it was so so good. Also, they had a very good selection of music playing & I pretty much sang and danced around the whole time it was a well needed stop on the way home..

Mixed review. Server was sweet and very good. The fresh oysters, crab mushrooms, chowder and crab melt were all good. Prices are what they are little high but it’s a touristy type restaurant in a tourist town. We saw guys actually pull up with just caught seafood to sell to Ron’s restaurant as we ate which was cool. Solidifies the fact they use fresh daily seafood. Our only real gripe was this; we sat outside on the sidewalk on the yellow picnic tables. They seemed sticky but we sat down. My friend got yellow paint stuck to her pants from sitting.

My hubby and I were driving through Astoria on a cold rainy winter day and were craving seafood chowder. We were not disappointed. We ordered the Hurricane Chowder and it was amazing! The best seafood chowder we have ever had, and it fed both of us! Chock full of a wide variety of seafood! So good we ordered a second to take on the road with us. With a local ale to top things off, the meal was perfect. The staff and service were also excellent.

My wife was looking for the best seafood chowder on our Oregon Coast roadtrip….we found it here. Order the hurricane chowder and you won’t be disappointed. We also had the crab stuffed mushroom caps and they were delicious.

This place is our favorite Seafood place in Astoria and surrounding areas. Jessica was our waitress, she was great. Our food came out quick and hot. We’ve been coming here for years. The fish is so fresh and delicious. We’ve never left disappointed. The service is great and we will be back for years to come!
