I am so glad I found Hunter’s Cafe! Driving back to Fayette County from Oconee, I was hoping to find a good local spot for breakfast and boy, did I hit the jackpot!

Hands down the best southern cooked food. This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back on a weekly basis!

Not the best. Bacon very salty, grits lumpy but almost $9 for grits bacon & Cinnamon roll. NEVER AGAIN. Looking at reviews & I see a whole breakfast plate full of food for less than $10. I’ll take my business somewhere else. Seems like everybody walking around mad or with an attitude. Not worth it.

We’re staying at Indian Springs State Park and saw this restaurant listed as a good place to eat. We stopped by this morning before going to hike and found their breakfast fulfilling. The staff was nice and welcoming. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and get a bite to eat!

This was our first and last time here. First of all, based on the website, we thought it was a cafe we could order off of a menu from. Nope, cafeteria buffet. Ok, so we we were there between breakfast and lunch. I got fired pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife asked for fried chicken, green beans. She wanted coffee and the pot was empty. We were done eating before the coffee pot was attended to. My pork chop was 90% bone and fat. My wife was promised a thigh and a leg. Legs weren’t done but they’d bring one out. Never happened. After leaving, I felt half sick and wondered about the fried chop I’d eaten. 30 minutes after that, my wife got sick. Won’t go back….that’s for sure!
