I have just had an awful experience with this store. The delivery driver kept going past my house. After 3 times I went out and hollered so she would know where to deliver. She got out of the car and immediately started yelling at me that I was being disrespectful. She said a lot of other nasty things and left we my order. I am a 71 year old living alone and this experience has been very upsetting for me. I have never in my life written a review like this and likely would have let this even go but to make matters much worse (and terrible for me) the manager called and told me I couldn’t order pizza from there again.

This is my go to place for a quick pizza, they always get em out in around 15 minutes no matter how busy they are. Great prices on everything, and be sure to throw flavoring on your crusts, it’s their signature and no extra cost!

We’re up in East tawas for vacation and we ordered the “Work’s pizza” from the Hungry Howie’s in ET and it was LOADED! They didn’t scimp on toppings and it was delicious, thank you HH! We will be back. Also, the young lady at the counter was very nice, it must be that small town charm!

I ordered 3-cheeser Howie Bread. I have had this many times at other Hungry Howies. I even have their H.H. app on my phone. What I was given was so disappointing that I returned for a refund. There was nothing that resembled “cheese” on the 3-cheeser chees bread. I saw perhaps a teaspoon of yellowish colored dry flecks that were pretending to be cheese. The rest was a pizza crust with a dusty dry sawdust material with oregano added. Aweful stuff Screwing up something as basic as cheese bread??? I will not be back to try this H.H. store’s pizza. I drove down the road to Main Street Pizza for cheese bread.

The staff here on our recent visit were AWESOME! We rolled into town in Tawas after a 3 hour trip 10 mins before closing time. They graciously took our order and whipped us out our pizza, and got us on our way 3 mins after closing. Because of the long trip and late our we were running out of pizza options! Thanks for hooking it up for us ever right up until the last minute!

We have not had Hungry Howies Pizza in years. Drove the extra miles craving good pizza. It was amazing! So glad we decided to make the drive!!!

This was the closest pizza to a New York style pizza that I have had since the 50’s when pizza first hit northwest Detroit. Great crust, good sauce, real mozzarella and baked till the crust is crispy….wow! Great pizza.

Leaving this review just to say how impressed I am with this store. They have been helping me get food to a needy household from afar by delivering pizza and other Hungry Howies goodies and have happily managed the difficulties of getting a food order to someone who doesn’t have a phone or way to stay in touch. They are clearly invested in the community which is never a given with franchises like this. Plus the food is great and they actually deliver. Support them, they are the best!

Until I came in twice in a row 15 minutes after my call. The pizza had yet to be made. Twice in a row…. Really? Then my next pizza was wrong. I called and was told to speak specifically to someone to get a replacement. It was not noted on my account. As they can’t give out schedules, I won’t get any compensation. This is seriously poor customer service. I’m not sure what happened to this place, but even the food has gone downhill. Sorry to see it deteriorate…
