The best kind of “hole in the wall” restaurant. Clean, friendly staff, delicious food. My husband and I had Bento Boxes (Short Rib and Bulgogi respectively) and the Hungry Fries to start. Portion sizes were generous and the vibe of the space was friendly and comfortable but not overwhelming. It was the perfect quick spot for a late lunch while we drove around the neighborhood!

We got the chicken katsu bento box and it was incredibly filling and delicious! We also got the kimchi stew (not pictured) that came with a side of rice (also not pictured) and the Korean side dishes (pictured). The interior is small and there is option for patio seating. Staff is attentive and always kept my water glass full which is very important to me haha. The parking lot is a tight fit, so be careful finding a spot especially when it is busy! Their menu is huge- lots to choose from! Can be a little pricy, but I guess that’s expected when you’re at a trendy spot on Fitzhugh ave. Would come back!

We were on a trip to Dallas and looking for somewhere to eat and Hungry Belly did not disappoint. We came in late close to 10, and when we came in we were immediately greeted and seated. I got the Naruto roll and it was so good. The kimchi fries were great. everything was great. even though we went in before closing they still had amazing service and they served us quick. My mother, father and I were seated at 12:30 June 15th, 2023. We waited over an hour for our food, and they brought out the wrong dish to my father. They didn’t bring the drinks or appetizers until the 45 minute mark. By the time they recooked the wrong order, my mother and I were finished with our food. Then came the check, to find out that they didn’t put the order in for 45 minutes, which is why we got our drinks at that time. To apologize, they took $2 of the ~$100 ticket. Not even enough to cover a drink.

A clean, welcoming, and delicious Korean restaurant. The staff are friendly and well trained, the food options are excellent and vast, I highly recommend the Korean food over everything else. I recommend the short ribs and beef dolsot bulgogi the most. Super rich and excellent flavor.
