It’s hard to know, when traveling through an unknown area, what place is really good….well this one is it. We had the chili cheese nachos(with homemade chips) and the apple, walnut and grilled chicken salad followed with the cherry chocolate layer cake. Don’t hesitate, stop here and enjoy The food like we did.

We stopped for a quick meal while traveling. The menu selections were good, the server was very nice, our food was delicious as were our beverages (a draft beer for me, a margarita for my wife), and the prices were quite reasonable. A live band was playing in the outside dining area. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend to a friend.

The Hungry Bear was a good place to eat! I came in with my family and I got a table away from the bar. It wasn’t very busy, and the waitresses were attentive to us and checked in with us pretty regularly. Food came quickly, and there were no issues with any of the orders. Food was good. Be warned, there is a 3.5% surcharge if you pay with either a debit or credit card. Other than that it was a very good meal!

It was definitely a little busy the evening we went so I did take a while to get our food but the waitress gave us an accurate estimation of time up front, kept us informed and took care of drinks promptly. The food was Delicious once it arrived. The mozzarella wedges were quite good: crispy well flavored breading with warm stretchy mozzarella cheese interiors with tangy marinara sauce. The quesadilla was spicier than I expected with a lot more than just cheese on the inside which was quite welcome. The sour cream and salsa were great additions. The black bean burger was a bit on the bland side. The poutine had plenty of cheese and flavor. Caesar salad was Fairly routine.
