I have been here many times, and have tried many different dishes. It is my go to place for Chinese takeout. Everything has been very good, served hot and quick service (my favorites are MuShoo Chicken and Chicken with fresh mushrooms). The lady who works the counter is very friendly.

Excellent takeout food. We particularly liked the Seafood Crispy Noodles, and the Beef with Snow peas was very good, too.

That was my second and last time I went to Hunan wok restaurant .The food was terrible. I am old, but the chicken was older than me. I will never recommend this place to no one.

Live about half mile away and order take out at least once, sometimes twice, per month. Never had a bad food experience. Unlike some chinese food, food tastes fresh and ‘clean’. Triple delight Won-ton soup and Peking Duck are our go to dishes and never disappoint. Lady owner doesn’t seem interested in engaging with customers but I wouldn’t describe her as rude as others have.

We’ve been going to this restaurant for years (decades actually). We’ve never done the dine-in thing because it is much easier to get take-out and also the eat-in place is tiny and is used as overflow storage space. However, the past couple of months have been a heartbreaking disappointment. Once, we ordered a few items and ended up throwing half of them away due to funky flavor. The food was not fresh. At all. Fine, we let it go, every place has an off day, right? Yesterday we ordered again, fingers crossed that it is all fresh because we do love this place and you can’t discount a family favorite due to one strike. Everything was good except for the crab wantons. The dough was dry and then… we found hair. Two (we threw the rest out) contained short, dark, curly hairs that we PRAY came from the head and not elsewhere on the body. This makes me question the integrity of everything else we ate. Now we have to find a different restaurant because full stop on this one. Which is heartbreaking because this never happened before.

1.5hrs delivery ON A SUNDAY!? Small portions for cost compared to other restaurants. Spareribs had no sauce – why would I want to eat dry, tasteless spareribs! What a wasted splurge. Shrimp toast was all soggy. Crab wontons not the best I’ve had. Maybe better to just do dine-in or takeout. First time trying here – guess gotta stick with what I know instead of trying new places.

The customer service was terrible from the time ordered and delivered the driver was nonchalant rude and the person that was on the phone was very aggressive. My food took an hour and some change to arrive I ordered orange chicken and fried rice the fried rice is nasty but the orange chicken was not bad at all.

I love this place for takeout! Tasty vegan / vegetarian options. Vegan Chinese options have been hard to find in Baltimore. All the dishes under the “vegetables” section are also vegan. Veggies are always fresh and cooked to perfection. There are 2 vegetable dishes in the “healthy” section that are also good (they come with the sauce on the side). Vegetable chow fun and mei fun can also be made vegan. I usually order eggplant with Szechuan sauce, broccoli with brown sauce, and Hunan style bean curd. Rice comes with all entrees. Just had them again tonight, soo good!

One dinner was enough to feed us both. Pork dumplings were enormous and could make a meal themselves. Food arrived so hot we had allow it to cool. Large pieces of chicken, veggies were fresh and not over cooked. Decent flavors. An quick enjoyable dinner.
