Nasty. Im sorry. BUT- Egg rolls burnt grom frying in filthy oil. Dumplings had a very light colored meat in it. IT WASNT PORK, AND IT WASNT THE WAY OTHER PLACES MAKE THEIRS. ALSO THE DUMPLING SAUCE WAS NOT THE SAME EITHER. THREW IT OUT. WE ONLY CAME HERE BECAUSE Szechuan Kitchen in South Plainfield is closed on mondays.and so is happy china. The man was handling money and touching food without gloves. I CAN ASSUME THEY DO NOT WASH HANDS AFTER THE RESTROOM AS WELL.. WHAT A WASTE OF WAITING TIME AND $$$NEVER AGAIN

Food quality of the food is not good anymore. Last time we ordered we were disappointed and had to threw it away. The chicken wings has a strange chemical tatse. Also everytime we asked for hot sauce they didn’t want to give us more always gave us a problem.

Worst experience visited this place my whole life up until today, I don’t know who’s running this place now, this food is so disgusting, Tastes like vinegar was added to their recipes and the lady at the register made me feel very uncomfortable upon paying for my order. I will try my best to pull my city together and boycott this place. Hunan wok you should start screening theses people before you let them work under your franchise.

I’ve been coming here for years. They don’t do personal take out and never have. Idk if they participate in doordash/Ubereats/Postmates etc if they’ve started deliveries though. Call and inquire. Their food is so seasoned and so non greasy. They have healthy options as well offering plenty of steamed veggies (which aren’t seasoned).

Unfortunately ordered from here by accident when I meant to order from Hunan Kitchen in SP. Food was very below average Chinese food. Egg rolls were good, everything else was very under whelming.

The staff is VERY VERY NASTY!!!!!! I guess they are used to not dealing with educated people of color! I gave my order over the phone and the lady that answered had no patience to take my order, because the other line kept ringing! I asked her how much would my order be, and she had the nerve to say “oh my God” I said excuse you is there something wrong with me asking how much my order is so I can go to my ATM and get cash being that you don’t take cards, and she said I’m just busy!!!! I guess me spending $50 wasn’t good enough for her to take the time and service me ! Costumer service is everything and the whole staff at Hunan Wok needs to take a course in costumer service! This experience has put a bad taste in my mouth! Never mind the fact that my whole family and I have been costumers for over 15 years !!! I left the area and just moved back close enough to travel to Hunan Wok! I will be sure to let my family know to take the business elsewhere!

Used to be good but not anymore. My husband and i just threw out the food we purchased. Bonesless ribs and chicken fry rice, while i had rib tips with pork fry rice. Both dishes was horrible rice seemed old and dried very little meat and the ribs was dried out. The ribs almost seemed like it was double cooked. I will never buy from this place again. One star is because thats the worst i can give. Stay away

Always disappointed, this is second time I’ve gone to this takeout Asian Chinese restaurant. 1st they handle money and don’t wash there hands before touching the food; and second the customer service is the worse…the woman behind the counter was rude and only seems to be about gouging the customer. I will never go there again…
