Very salty!! Ugh! Too much salt. I thought the soup would be better and it was also SUPER SALTY. Impossible to eat it! I went to give away my money. Now I’ll have to buy something else, because I’m still hungry I’ll keep driving to see what else I find.By the way. The bathrooms stink.

I stay down the street from this restaurant, but today was my first time ordering food from there. The workers were very friendly! And service was fast! I ordered the eggs rolls, and shrimp fried rice. The egg rolls were hot, crispy, and delicious! And the shrimp fried rice was hot, and very delicious! Also, they give you a large quantity of rice! I shared mine with someone else, when I got home! I will be going back!

Horrible service, prices are completely incorrect, and my order wasn’t even correct. I ordered wonton soup in the drive thru, listed at $1.50 before tax. No sign posted saying prices have changed. Pull around, told it’s $3.00, whatever. Give him my card. The sign on the window says 25 cent charge for card orders under $5, but when he brings back my receipt he ran my card for $3.50. Not $3.25. I say thank you and he doesn’t even respond, just glares and slams the window. I was hoping maybe the food was at least good. But when I got home to open the bag, he gave me egg drop soup instead of wonton. To have such a dirty store, to lie about prices, and then get the order wrong AND be rude? Never again.

The Hunan Star on Kiehl isn’t much for atmosphere, but who cares when the food is this hot, tasty, and piled high to make two meals from one lunch plate for under $15? Chinese food is rarely this filling, and the egg rolls are the biggest and best around. Yum!

My take out order was so soggy that the excess juice overflowed from the container and into my carseat. The fried rice was a joke; just steamed rice with a sauce spooned over them and the entree was bland. Egg drop soup tasted very good and the staff was friendly so I may try again in the future. Not great for my first time.

I was tempted to try this place even after reading some of the negative reviews because well I love chinese food. I am not kidding when I say this was absolutely the worst good I’ve ever had. It was suspiciously ready for pickup like 5 minutes after I ordered, the egg rolls have been refried God knows how many times. My wife ordered teriyaki chicken and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I dont like to be rude but when you spent 40 dollars and throw it right in the trash it’s very disappointing. McDonalds would have easily been a better choice, I have no idea how this place stays open. I also read on one of these reviews that they were nice people. The guy didnt even speak to me when I picked up. The place is an absolute dump on the outside and from what I can see on the inside from the window as well. Do not eat here folks the quality is just horrible!

I love this place. These people are very nice and generous people. My family and I have eaten food from here all our lives, and I am almost 30. So they have been here for a very long time. Dont listen to the very few complaints on here. If you grew up in Sherwood, you know and love this place most likely.
