Ok I had High Hopes as the only Chinese option left open on a Monday at 7pm. We Ordered several Favorites to try. Orange Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Empress Pork w Vegetables, Sesame Chicken, Crab Ran-goo, Egg rolls, and Fried Rice.

Hunan’s is very yummy. Last time we went here, the service was great and the food was delicious. This time we came in 45 minutes before they closed and service was still fast, but my food seemed a little cold. If you eat in, they get your food out really fast, the tea is hot and so is the soup. They have great lunch deals that go all week. I really enjoy eating here. You get a lot of food for the price!

Ordered chicken & broccoli, I know there’s water chestnuts & bamboo shoots in it. Usually I just pick them out since I don’t like them, usually not a problem anywhere else… but HERE.. RIDICULOUS

Ate here for lunch today. No time to eat your appetizer before your meal is served. We got there at 11:30. Ordered crab ragoons and they were stale and tough. No reason to cook crab ragoons in advance. Only 2 other people in resturant. Probably won’t go back any time soon, if ever.

Ordered there last night, it was a mistake. I ordered general tso and he ordered sesame chicken. The chicken was overcooked, tasted like it sat for hours cooked and then they reheated it. The broccoli wasn’t at all cooked and tasted like dirt, and the cream cheese in the crab Rangoon tasted sour. We spent $40 on dinner and couldn’t even stomach half of it. Ended up making us sick.

So this isn’t a corporate chain! Hallelujah! Locally own by some very nice people. My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is excellent, so is the service. People are friendly. The atmosphere is charming! Thanks Hunan, for being a staple in this community for so long!

Clean and well kept restaurant. Service was great and attentive. Food subpar. I felt like the General Tso’s was literally a to go order that sat in the window for an hour before I ordered it for dine in- and they found someone to serve it to. Fried rice had the texture of grape nuts. Hot and Sour soup and eggroll were hot, fresh and completely average. Main course not so much. I had high hopes walking in and seeing how nice the place was.

Jason, the catering manager is the NICEST person I’ve met in a very long time, and I work in customer service. We had a huge catering order for 80 people. Not only did the food arrive on time, it was hot, fresh, organized, and Jason set it all up. THEN, we he found out I was a vegetarian & didn’t order any vegetable items, he went back to Hunans & delivered me a delicious vegetarian meal. I mean, really?! That is an amazing employee & you’re lucky to have him. Thank you so, very much.

I ordered take out and as I drove home I noticed that there was no aroma from the food. When we started to eat we found the food was tough, stringy and absolutely no taste. We ate a few spoonfuls and then dumped the rest of it.

Killer small town family owned Chinese food. I always love the General Tso chicken and lo mein. Fried rice always hits the spot.
