I ordered 4 different dishes last night for myself and my husband. We ordered alot so that he can take some leftovers to work that night as well as we can eat it next day. (Im pregnant and barely cooking so togo is best options for us)

Nice people that work there and all, but it pains me to say that the chicken dishes were like rubber, and everything was drenched in soy sauce. That being said, I have super high standards for Chinese food. The restaurant would be out of business if it were located in Chinatown /Flushing in NYC, DC, SF, or Honolulu. Check out the pictures I posted for a forray into the “brown food group” that is pervasive at Hunan Family.

They forgot to put my ginger ale in my bag & utensils, blamed it on uber eats who pays and delivers my food. Ordered the combination rice and chicken…it tasted mushy and dry like it been sitting. Had the boneless spare ribs, tasted good but was very chewy like it been over cooked. Will not be ordering back here unless their food is fresh.

This was the worst pepper steak I’ve ever had. Totally disappointing. My regular spot is closed on Tuesdays. I’ll never go here again. To add insult to injury they didn’t even give me a fortune cookie!

Have eaten at Hunan Family many times over the years. The chef always makes my food custom, right when I order and I can always make changes for more or less spicy. Great for my budget as an order is always too large for one meal. I also try to support local business in Columbia, Maryland. Great food.

I love this place flavor is very good but I have to say the last few times I have order have been very disappointed. My go to is their shrimp egg foo young,flavor great but to order this dish and for the last three times have less than 5 shrimp between the 2 patties is ridiculous. And when I did PAY and ask for extra shrimp it added 2 not cool
