Best Chinese food we’ve had in a while, could possibly be the best. The lady was amazing! Best customer service! Wow! So thrilled to have come here!

Liven and loven not much farther then from the best. A pleasure to dine, and the rooms were great! The owner was extremely polite and with over 30 years in experience, who could say anything bad? Savoury flavour in the freshly stocked lunch buffet and better the yet towards the elegant traditional dinning room for a perfect enlightenment to curbing the appetite on a lunch break.

Walked in, the owner was playing the piano beautifully, and she didn’t see us, when she did, she smiled and said I’m sorry! Super sweet, great service, amazing food.. My favorite place so far! Definitely recommend!

Ordered $60 of food tonight and I have to say it was not good. They didn’t have the seafood soup on menu so I ordered won ton soup and they were out. The Szechuan chicken was good however, I also ordered the Szechuan shrimp and scallops they were two completely different dishes. The shrimp and scallops was in a tomato sauce with no spice and no scallops to be found. We won’t be back!!

I personally never review or post my thoughts. Do not eat here. I had to ask twice for silverware. I had to get my own tea. Which the owner got out of a 5 gallon bucket with no ice. When I asked for a refill of my tea I was given Stony indifference as a response. When my food was finally served it felt like I was eating a giant block of salt. I ate three bites of my food and couldn’t eat anymore. I than went to check out and when I was asked about my food I informed the waiter who I later found out was the owner; my thoughts of the food. I was informed by him that he was only one person and working three tables was too much work. I informed him that he needed to hire help and that I just wanted to pay and leave. This apparently was to much for him to handle also because he informed me that he had owned the business for twenty seven years. I than proceeded to say again that I just wanted to pay for my food and leave. I was finally allowed to pay after my ten minute lecture on how obviously I didn’t know anything about restaurants or being a waiter. His wife how ever was a nice lady. Good luck to the brave souls who eat there is all I can say read the bad reviews prior and pay heed to them occasionally the people who write them are not complete ignorant morons and have reason to post a bad review.

Our fourth time here. We love it. The food is great. The service is very personable. The Inn/Restaurant combo is quaint. I covet their wonderful, long, wooden front porch, too.

So disappointed!!!! Nice workers. Food was oversalted. Noodles had no flavor. Very small bar. Had to wait on bar to be restocked. Egg drop soup was tolerable. Not trying to be ugly at all but we were traveling and read reviews…..very very disappointed.

Such a nice change of venue from common hole in the wall Chinese restaurant from home. The owner, Mrs. Yen, was very hospitable. To the extent where we struck a conversation when she served me my food. I had the potstickers, which were quite different than what I was used to, they were most likely frozen but the sauce in which they were served with was awesome. It was a thick brown sauce with a bit of spice. Definitely would recommend if you’re coming to Elberton for work like I was.

I have been a regular at Hunan’s for many years. JoAnn and Carl treat their customers like family. They are very accommodating when it comes to special orders, questions, etc. I won’t eat Chinese anywhere else because Hunan’s is the only place I’ve ever found that offers delicious and non-greasy Chinese food.

Got there at 12:30, nothing but scraps on the buffet. The food was cold, stale, rubbery, the egg drop soup had no taste what-so-ever. What food was there was total slop This was the most depressing Chinese place I have ever been to and I have been to zillions in my 40+ years.
