The unique item here is the spring roll sized egg roll that “smells like a churro” because of the subtle cinnamon sprinkled in the filling. Skip the fried rice that comes with the lunch special and get the white rice instead. Also be patient bc they are constantly taking phone orders during lunch hour.

The price is good, they use an unusual style for the pork fried rice, the pork should not be chewy it’s not a fluke as I’ve had it twice. Spring rolls are standard and so is the general tso’s chicken. It’ll take a bit too long for service on the phone and picking up, the place looks presentable. I think they’re a new place so maybe things will change.

I highly recommend this restaurant! First time ordering from them and their food was surprisingly delicious. I really recommend the crispy chicken or the moo shu chicken! I’m a big fan of chicken so I got dishes that had chicken in it. I also got a combination fried rice which was also very good. All of the dishes that I had ordered were all pretty good! There was a good balanced amount of ingredients and the seasoning was just right. Their menu has a various amount of dishes, I’m sure that they all taste amazing! The pricing of the food is also very relatable and is affordable! Their appetizers are also so good, my favorite is probably the crab rangoon or the spring rolls! However I think that the crispy chicken wasn’t spicy enough and was a bit more sweet than spicy but that may just be me being picky. But overall, highly recommended!!

I don’t write reviews often but I’m officially glad to find a solid Chinese takeout joint near me, a rarity in NoVA. Their takeout service was excellent, and every single dish my family tried was delicious. I loved the Kung Pao chicken because of its big chucks of vegetables. You find so many fresh, healthy options on the menu.

I just moved here and was looking for a nice local Chinese food place and I found the perfect one!! Ordered the Kungpao chicken and Lomein both at Lunch price and they are DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend Hunan Cafe, can’t be any happier to have discovered this restaurant

This is the best Chinese food I’ve had ever. I really wanted to write this review because I moved to Vienna 3 years ago and have tried multiple places, finally this is the one. Everything we got was excellent, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, orange shrimp and chicken, shrimp fried rice pad Thai. It was all delicious. Couldn’t recommend more!
