Was around the area for Publix and stumbled upon Hunan for some chinese food. We had their shrimp lo mein , chicken wings, szechaun beef for the wife and general tsao chicken for the kids. I can 100% say that everyone agreed that this was the best chinese food we ever had. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their Lo Mein and Fried Chicken Wings. Best chinese food around!!! HIDDEN GEM

I went to the counter and let the man know this was my first time eating there. I asked if they had shrimp fried rice. The man then sarcastically said “every Chinese restaurant has shrimp fried rice”. I turned around and walked out. Rude! (White guy with a black mask-just so the restaurant knows who they hired).

The best Chinese food in town. I’ve lived in Mount Pleasant for over 20 years and just recently discovered Hunan Chinese Restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. The kids keep asking everyday for Hunan. The wait time was a little longer but that is because everyone knows it’s the best!

We have been ordering from this restaurant for years, over the past couple years, the food has gone down in quality, drastically! Last night was literally so bad, that we threw out 80% of the food. How in the world can you mess up crab Rangoon and spring rolls? They come frozen and all you have to do is fry them. They are clearly buying the lowest quality food possible, and have raised prices. The food was absolutely disgusting. Do not waste your time, appetite, money, or calories on this garbage.

I am left speechless…. As I have lived in Hong Kong for about 5 years I know what authentic Asian food is like which makes me a little bit biased. However claiming to be authentic is very much an over statement. The pot stickers were a catastrophic disappointment. Not only where they bland and flavorless but whoever cooked them that day clearly showed up to work high because they had dill weed and mustard on the side. I was very unimpressed by the layout of this food joint. I waited a solid 45 minutes for my food which turned out completely disgusting. I gave it one star because there is no option for a 0 star. I would like to see improvements but is unlikely to happen soon.

We ordered some steamed dumplings and fried shrimp. They don’t have tartar sauce for their shrimp which every single other Chinese food restaurant I’ve ever been to does. The dumpling were these thick walled gummy mass produced globs. The frozen stuff at the grocery store is much better. There are better options in town.

Placed an online order at 5:15 , paid with credit card, got a call at 5:33 saying your order won’t be there until 8pm. While I was disappointed it was gonna take a min, I was still OK to wait however the young gentleman on the phone proceeded to get attitude, talk smack and hung the phone up and refused to answer. Now me and my fam don’t even know if you are getting the food we paid for or not. Very bad business.
