We were craving oven fire pizza and found this place online. Since most of the items are prepared on the spot, the food took a bit longer to come out but it was worth the wait. We ordered the mediterranean dip for appetizer and our main course were the Margherita and the Carnivore pizzas. We were so stuffed that only ate half of our pizzas and brought home the leftovers. The ambiance was super cozy and the staff was nice and friendly.

It was a quite Saturday afternoon and I wanted a good steak. I found Humo and it was barley opening. There was no crowd. Seated right away and we were taken care of. I got the ribeye with bone marrow and Mac n cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and the added flavor of the bone marrow and house made steak sauce made it over the top delicious. My nephew got the pasta cabonara and devoured it and loved it before I could get my uncle Tax. Then we got a spiced cake that came with ice cream and man on man were we in flavor heaven. My nephew still talks about that cake.

Our waiter was nice!! He ensured we had everything, my biggest gripe is how slow it is here. We waited at least 30 min for the 1st appetizer and the second came about 15 after that. Another hr to get the first plate of food. Very slow like many others have said. Food was okay shrinp pizza and pepperoni lacked flavor they were also quite thin and not enough sauce, the scallop dip appetizer was good cajun pasta with shrimp and honey was also. My buddy ordered the steak which was eh.The salad pictured was descent definitely needed the dressing. For desert we ordered the peach cobbler and my wife got a free brownie for her birthday, the cobbler was 1 out of 10, I’m Georgia and this is far from the real deal mostly. The brownie was definitely dark chocolate based and had a sharp flavor. I don’t think we will return just off the slow service alone being there 3 hrs was beyond ridiculous. And definitely not worth $200 in my opinion.

Made a reservation weeks in advance, they asked if it was a special occasion and told them it was our anniversary. When we got there it was very welcoming, a small, quaint restaurant with great menu choices. We ordered the Sara’s pizza and the margherita and both were delicious. They brought us out a custom made dessert that we got no charge for, and it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the crème brûlée which was outstanding as well. We would definitely come back again to try more food from the menu. Compliments to the chef on the amazing dessert and food!

Arrived to a quiet and very dim atmosphere with calm music. Very nice set up. Ordered a Caprese salad with chicken which came out out after our pizza. The Caprese salad was delicious perfect balance between the greens, mozzarella, tomato, and EVOO with pepper. Would give this place a second chance just based on this item. I ordered two pizzas. Pepperoni and a Chile Verde Pizza. Nothing special about the sauce or the cheese on the pepperoni pizza but the crust was very good and crispy. I would give the pepperoni pizza a 5.5/10. With the chile verde pizza, it is decieving since there was very little green chile. It is more of a squash and corn pizza. Two types of cheese , green chile, squash and corn. Very dry missing a suace in the pizza. Once I asked staff if they had a sauce they offered to make a small portion of alfredo sauce. They made a perfect alfredo sauce that if it would of been on the pizza would of made this pizza a 9.2/10. Adding more green chile a 10/10. The reason my service review is low is not due to my waiter, I was charged for the alfredo sauce that made their pizza work. Our waiter was great! I will give them a second chance in the future because of the salad!

We came back, we will revisit our reviews and give them a 5 star once they get the handicap updated. As you can see in the picture, they put a patio over the handicap and get to add a handicap stall. I asked staff and they said the patio has been out there for a while.

Another El Paso gem!!! This was our first time at Humo, and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is varied and includes international cuisine. We had Tabule, mussels, pork belly tacos with a Vietnamese twist, pizza, and tiramisu. Did I mention the pizza is wood fire made We loved the romantic atmosphere ❤️Come and support a local gem

After trying the hummus, I wondered why this restaurant received some hate from reviews. It seems that it’s related to wait time, price, and service. This place is delicious. It may be the best restaurant I have visited up to now in El Paso as food goes. The hummus has to be the best one I have ever tried. It’s better than any Mediterranean place I have visited. That pita bread in wood fire was worth the visit. The Mediterranean salad was a salad but it was tasty. The pear and brie pizza was also awesome. I like my pizza ingredients to be meaty but zero complaints here. For all of the items we tried, the ingredients all go very well together. I will say you probably have to project getting hungry here and not go hungry already because it will probably bitter up your palate. We were probably here an hour and 45 and most of it was waiting for food. I am not complaining though. That slow cook in a wood fire oven was worth the wait. Service was good and prices were fair for the quality food you get.

Call me crazy, but I usually like sauce and cheese on my pepperoni pizza. Come one come all if you enjoy pizza crust with a couple bites of edible pizza and a 3% fee for using a card to pay. If you use a walker and need to use the restroom you will will not be able to get in. Make sure to have them split your checks if needed, we were done eating at 8pm, and couldn’t get out checks till 9.

Small little romantic place. The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious. It took a while for food to come out. The dessert took a little longer to come out and the nutella dessert was undercooked. But maybe it was just a mistake. Well have to go back and see if it passes.
