The food is delicious as a came to my job for lunch I ordered a oxtail platter, jerk chicken platter, and also the brown stew chicken & it’s all smelling delicious. The brown stew chicken is so good tender and very flavorful. I also had two beef patties with your delicious and I’ll have to see the last two for my family.

The food was not all there for us, meaning the seasoning on the jerk chicken was not all that and barely tasted like it. First intial smell was bbq sauce. Rice was ok, and the macaroni was definitely plain.

The truck came to my job for lunch. I ordered brown stew chicken cabbage with rice and peas. It was $12 . I ordered jerk wings as well they were $7 for 4 they were real grilled jerk wings not baked with jerk sauce. The food was phenomenal. After having so many failed tries of Caribbean food in Delaware this was simply impeccable. The truck was so clean. The customer service was great. They have won me as a customer. Please come back to Avenue North we loved the food.

The smell was really great. The taste was a little lackluster. I asked for extra sauce on my oxtails rice and cabbage and I didn’t get any and then the second order was curry, rice and peas and cabbage and they also didn’t get extra sauce… So I would just say when ordering from here, always make sure you get extra sauce because the foods a little dry I love moisture, I love sauce!!!! Also this was my 1st visit maybe the second time will be a better experience.

I stopped off at the mall for lunch and couldn’t find a spot, so I parked at the edges of the parking lot and looked up to see this beautiful food truck. The owners were delightful and had great energy. The food followed suit. The juicy jerk chicken was a brilliant combination of hot and sweet, and the ripe plantains were tender and plentiful. The portions were ample, especially for the price! If you are driving through on 95, you should stop here for a fantastic meal!

I had oxtails, rice and peas with steamed cabbage. The food was just “ok” and semi edible, as I’ve had better. The oxtails weren’t spicy, which was a plus for me, since I don’t like spicy food. However, there were 4 and 1/2 oxtails in my container with no gravy, and I found 1 butter bean. The oxtails didn’t “fall off the bone.” Poking with my fork, didn’t loosen the meat from the bone. I actually had to pick them up, bite and tug the meat off the bone with my teeth. The rice and peas were pretty tasty, but definitely could have used a douse of gravy. The cabbage had to be cooked while I waited. I was told “2 minutes” but it ended up being 7 minutes. My cabbage should’ve cooked for at least 10 minutes. It’s was crunchy……like coleslaw, and not soft like steamed cabbage. Not sure if it was “rushed” but definitely undercooked. My daughter will try just about anything food related, and she said “yeah, don’t spend any more money there” after trying my food. Sorry guys……this was a “no” for me. But again, I’ve had this same food from other places.

Babyyyy I am a customer for life. Today was my first time trying their food. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This is the first Jamaican food place I have found that makes my yams the way I like them, sweet and seasoned. Tons of flavor throughout all of my food. I am in love and can’t wait to have it again. I asked for extra Oxtail gravy they did not skimp on my gravy and even gave me some on the side for my rice and peas. Also they have great portion sizes, it’s definitely worth every penny. Lastly the owners are so sweet and inviting. I can see why they had so many customers

The first thing I said before placing my order was “Your Kitchen is immaculate!” HBIC was clean, spotless on the inside and out! The food was authentically cooked with island spices and fresh ingredients! WE WILL BE BACK! 5 out of 5 stars!

Wow, amazing! For $12 we got a packed plate of brown stew chicken, macaroni, and candied yams. The chicken was so tender, everything was so full of flavor. The truck owners were very kind. We will definitely be back!
