Nice place with good sushi. We had a number of rolls, aishi, nigiri, and other appetizers, and all were good. The salmon kama was particularly nicely done.

Right off of Mace Blvd, I was riding back to the bay from Sacramento and I found this gem. Wonderful food and beautiful presentation, I’ll be coming back next time I come through this area. I ordered the beef udon, sweat heart roll, and garlic edemame.

I have visited 3 times so far. I really enjoy the lion king roll any where I go. The way the dish is prepared here is different than most places I’ve experienced. Lots of salmon on top and ingredients inside. Packed with flavor and covered in sauce. You can’t eat it with chop sticks. I used a soup spoon. The bites were that hearty and full. They also have a cinnamon tea that is hard to stop drinking. I really enjoyed the kind service, and clean quiet setting. A must visit in Davis for sushi and more!

Huku is our family’s favourite Japanese restaurant in Davis. We especially enjoy the delicious Bento Box lunch offerings. Highly recommend the Teriyaki Chicken and Tempura Bento Box. The youngest member of our family loves Huku’s sushi, as well.

We stumbled onto this wonderful sushi restaurant since we came here to eat at the Taqueria Guadalajara Grill right next door, but it was closed that day due to maintenance.

The owners are pretty shady to their staff (IE withhold a high percentage of tips until they feel the servers are well versed to their high standards) so I wouldn’t support this sort of establishment. I would know because I was a part of this staff years ago . There’s so much better and high quality sushi in Sacramento area or in other parts of Davis. I’ve tried their rolls and it’s nothing special. They’re a bit over priced for what you get.

This restaurant has robot runners that assist the servers in delivering the food. The food is very fresh and exquisite. Fresh salads and four different homemade salad dressings to choose from.

I used to like this place. But recently there is a waitress (short hair) who is rude. I remembered last time I came myself, she put down my dishes carelessly. And she asked me if I am done when there are still food in my plates. This time I came and they cannot serve dine in, the other waiter explained nicely with me the reason. While we are talking, that waitress came by and talked to me with unpleasant attitude. Even though I still love the food here, I will never come again if this waitress is still here. I really miss the old Huku, servers are polite and always awesome experience dining here. But now….
