I have been getting pizzas from this place for 25 years, since they opened and it was the best pizza ever made. But the last 3 times I ordered my usual works pizza for takeout it was hard to believe it came from the same place. The toppings were minimal and the crust was hard to chew. After so many years of bragging about their pizza to everyone I have to say I would not recommend it to anyone anymore. Hope the manager can get things back on track for the takeout orders.

Best pizza, quite possibly in Wisconsin and maybe the Midwest. The taste and the crust must be an old family recipe that is not found anywhere else. The crust is almost a pastry on its own. The sauce adds so much to the pizza without a sweetness to distract the taste buds. The pizza here is fantastic. It is better than many, many I have had in Chicago or Milwaukee. Oh, and have your pizza with a pint of Doane’s beer. You will thank me for the suggestion, I guarantee it. Enjoy this place. It is very good food.

Very few people there and it took 45 minutes to get a 2 topping pizza. Thin crust wasn’t crispy as other review said it would be. Best part was it wasn’t expensive.

one hour for a single 16in pizza. I understand there’s other people in the place but looking into the kitchen it seems there’s only one person working back there making the pizzas. with the restaurant being open to only pizza orders, you’d think they would be able to at least manage that.

We got a pizza with lots of toppings last night and it was very good! I especially liked the tomatoes and mushrooms, which were both very fresh! Also ordered cheese curds that came with ranch and loved them! The service was good.

4.5…first time take out. Definitely a two thumbs way up on the pizza(meat lovers) with my crumbs crunchers! The sauce is just a touch on the sweet side and NOT overwhelming. The pizza surprisingly weighed lighter than normal when I picked it up, but it’s because of the light cracker like tasting. I normally would prefer pan like but this is definitely one of my top 5. Average $4 per person without drinks and tips. Nothing like a great pizza at the beach on a picnic table! Great JOB Hugo’s Pizza!
