Wish I could give more stars, when it’s good, it’s REALLY good, and I think they have some of the best breadsticks in town. There’s just been to many times where it’s just so-so. My biggest complaints are the sauce is sometimes nonexistent, like they barely color the dough with the sauce, and they almost always forget the flavored crust. I’d have no problem bumping my rating up if I were to see a consistent improvement on the above.

Great pizza! I’m new to Lapeer and have been hesitant to try Hugo’s due to mixed reviews; especially since there are so many other great pizza options. I’ve had Hugo’s twice now for birthday parties at the local skating rink. Both times the pizza has been great. Prices are affordable and I’ll definitely be adding them to my pizza night menu.

Their pizzas and chicken are good. I ordered the ultimate nacho. It was large but no flavor. I literally couldn’t find meat and yes it comes with it. And same with cheese not much there. It had no Mexican flavor. They offer several items, thought I would try something different. Service is always fast and Is courteous.
