Mixed experience here. The tri-tip and the sides were excellent – succulent and juicy with nice smoky flavor. The tamales, on the other hand, were a bit blah.

Ordered Machaca breakfast burrito. The price is very reasonable and a big size, full of eggs and big chunks of beef. YUM! We visited at 7am and it is open. CASH ONLY. The location is great, just by the road. Menu is posted on the order counter.

Best machacha breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Nice and large too! It was the threshold of how spicy I can eat but that’s not saying much, I’m sure most people would put hot sauce on it. Driven past this place several times, it’s definitely going to be a regular stop for me now.

A great family restaurant with excellent breakfast burritos, if a little pricey. Can’t beat that view.

I stopped by for lunch. I ordered two pork ribs with a side of beans. Ribs were ok, beans not so good. Ribs were pretty tender but, had a ( I’ve been sitting way too long in heater taste). This was lunch time they weren’t fresh. Did not like the tomato sauce on them.

Stopped in on a road trip; at hour 10 we needed something more than chips to sustain. We ordered pulled pork sandwich (meat was very dry); turkey sandwich (it had pressed turkey meat slices and a beef tamale that was flat and resembled more like an empanada than a fluffy corn dough tamale. Very not happy with the meal and when a person came over to the table to ask how our meal was he started talking about very personal & inappropriate situations he was going through with his wife & nephew.
