Food was good+ but the wait was longer than expected. Prices are a bit high for the quality of food received. The dessert we ordered was absolutely FABULOUS making up for an average meal. Very interesting atmosphere was fun to see. The downtown area is very nice and made for an interesting visit.

This is the second, and last, time that I will be eating here. I’d like to start off by saying that yes, I read the sign at the entrance noting how they are current short staffed, but that doesn’t excuse the behavior that we witnessed from the employee(s) working this particular evening. It also doesn’t explain why it took nearly 45 minutes to cook two hamburgers when the dining room was only 1/4 full. The burgers were good, bordering average, but unfortunately nothing special considering how much our bill ending up being. Our waitress did a good job, no complaints there. We stopped at the bar on the way out for milkshakes. The woman who made them was clearly new but was as nice as could be. However her coworker working behind the bar with her was not. We felt awful watching her struggle to make two milkshakes with no help and a very unpleasant coworker barking orders at her like a dog. Finally, my main complaint about this evening’s service is directed towards the horrible lady working the cash register. In retrospect, I can’t understand why she was even working in this position because I have never in my life never seen someone who very clearly did not want to be doing what she was doing. She scoffed at us when we asked if this was where we are to pay and she threw up her hands and said “Well I guess you can” with a very obvious tone of annoyance in her voice. We even witnessed it for a second time, while we waited for our milkshakes to be made, towards the elderly lady behind us because she wasn’t able to correctly enter her check into the computer. After about 5 minutes of trying and getting visibly upset, she finally started yelling at her coworker to come and help. Her and her family calmly tried to explain to her that two of them split an order but that did nothing to help the belligerent cashier. Finally before we left, we witnessed her seating a couple, when they asked for a specific table, she says, yet again in obvious annoyance, “Sure if that’s where you want to sit.” Such an unpleasant experience to have as a paying customer and this is the first and last interaction you get going in and out the front door.

Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant. My family (5 people) came in for milkshakes and waited for 45-50 minutes for one of the worst shakes I’ve ever had. The wait itself was bad enough listening to employees complain and talk more than they would work. I ordered a large milkshake that tasted and had the consistency of milk. The ice cream was barely noticeable. My dad ordered a malt and his was also extremely thin and had more milk than whipped cream. Really hope the food’s better than the shakes.

Wow! What a treat! We loved the atmosphere, the waitress was wonderful! And then the food!!!! Omgosh, the food was so good. I order the 431 pork steak sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes, both were so good. My husband ordered the build your own burger with fries and bragged the entire time. My daughter got the chicken wrap, she enjoyed it as well. My only complaint was that I didn’t have room for dessert. We had the fried pickles for an appetizer, very good too.

Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but after wanting to check them out for a while, I was disappointed. We only wanted milkshakes after a day on the lake. We waited over 35 minutes to get them, to go, and there was no consistency in how they turned out. I was excited about getting a malted milkshake, only to end up getting a cup that was half filled with whipped topping and a very weak malt flavor. My oldest daughter’s shake tasted like flavored milk and my youngest daughter’s was so thick that she had to use a spoon to eat it.

Church group. Food was cold. They were not prepared for our group even though they were called 5 days ahead. Food was served sporadically. Some received theirs early. Some more than an hour later. Some menu items were not available….chicken salad for one

From start to finish this place was amazing. Ashton our waitress was top notch. She was so kind to our son and just so wonderful. Our food was delicious! So glad we stopped in. We will definitely come back here in the future when traveling.
