I opted for the grilled tenders on my last visit to try and eat a healthier option. They were really good and I recommend them for anyone looking for healthier than the traditional fried tenders. The fried tenders are great as well. It’s nice to have options.

My wife and I have dined at Huey Magoo’s for lunch a few times over the last couple of months. The chicken tenders are pretty tasty. They won’t knock any other restaurants tenders off my list, but they have been added to my list of chicken options! And their fries are really good too. Nice people and a good restaurant. I just wish they had a better laid out drink and condinements area. But that’s not a show stopper for sure.

This place really has some excellent food. I heard about it from a friend after one opened in his town. We’ve now been twice and have not been disappointed either time. My children have commented both times that the plain fried chicken is spicy, but that hasn’t stopped them from enjoying it.

We wanted to compare the other chicken restaurants, so we tried Magoos. Ordered via their app, easy to use, then got our food to go. Overall, everything was really good. Their special sauce seems a bit mayo heavy, but overall they get my vote. Coleslaw isn’t very sweet and could use improvement but everything else, on point.

Love the food. It’s an expanding chain. Been at this branch a few times. Basically a step up from Zaxby’s. Only negative is this particular branch doesn’t have the same type of table service as the other 2 branches I’ve been to where someone offers to get you refills for example.
