Reminded me of WH but found out Huddle House actually opened up just before WH. Some of the bet food we had. They have locations near Houston and the DFW area. They announced that they are opening a new location in Georgetown, TX. The photos below are from their online menu. I wish I had taken photos but I ate my good too fast and it was so good. My kiddo had their western omelet which looked just about the same as their online pic. I had their 2 egg breakfast. The best though was they had vanilla creamer with their coffee. Denny’s is the only other restaurant chain I know of that has vanilla creamer. We are so happy they are opening a new location in Central TX.

It was my Granny’s favorite place to eat and I know why! The service was great and timely, the food was fresh and everything tasted delicious! Especially the sweet potato fries! I highly recommend to anyone passing through to stop here for a great meal!

For the most part, the food is reasonable and prices ok. Great coupons available. We use to eat here 2 to 3 times a week. Service was always friendly. The last couple of months there has been a particular waitress that has given us poor service at best. Today my wife ordered pancakes with strawberries. There were no strawberries. This waitress said it was just how it came out the can. Last straw. There are places that are concerned about customer service. I’ll go back when that waitress is gone.

The food was really good. The male cook was great, lots of hustle. The female cook did not seem to help him much. All other staff was extremely slow. Sat down and someone took our drink order immediately, but 10 minutes later still no drinks (1 cup of coffee and 1 water). It took 37 minutes to finally get our food due to the 20 minutes we waited to get our order in. For a Sunday morning, there is definitely a need for more help.

Good quality food! But the last 3x I’ve been, they sweep and mop right next to us while we are eating! Not only is dirt & dust flying everywhere around our table, but then the floor is soaking wet and I can’t get up to leave or i have to hope I don’t slip when I get up. They didn’t just do this 1 time, but 3 times. So it’s not like it was an accident. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Our group was overly pleased with the menu selection, service and cleanliness of the whole place including the restrooms and convenience store adjacent. The Valero pumps sleep had the least expensive diesel in the area by 10¢ per gallon. Back to the H. House: everything was spot on. We ask had breakfast and was served fast and hot. You gotta try those bacon & cheese hash browns. Wait staff was attentive and polite. We’ll put this on the list of places to try again.

We ate here because it had such good reviews but it was not a good experience. Most tables were empty but we’re covered in food and dirty dishes. The food was typical truck stop food I was surprised that people said this food was great. And the didn’t refill our waters .
