Huddle House is one of the few places that serves an old fashioned waffle instead of the thicker and less appealing Belgian waffle. The meal was served hot. The scrambled eggs were not dried out. The hash browns were crisp on the exterior and soft and hot in the middle. The waffle was good and hot. My only critique is that the smoked sausage patties were unappealing. This isn’t specific to this chain. They need to add breakfast sausage links to the menu.

Black mold in the ceiling, not 1 single thing we ordered arrived correct. We were the only people in the location at the time and it took 45 mins to receive the wrong orders. Had to constantly fight off flies for my kids to eat part of the wrong orders we received. We sat and watched people joke and laugh after our order was taken for 20 minutes. Completely unacceptable across the board.

This is the worst experience ever. Walked in there is food laid out on the counter with flies all over it trash every were. I ordered cheesy bacon tots and the cook grabbed the bacon that was sitting on the counter already made with flies on it. I said sir no your not gonna use that bacon in my food it had flies all over it. He got mad and started slinging stuff everywhere. The kitchen is beyond nasty I absolutely do not recommend coming here. It needs shut down asap! Nastiest place ever.

Me and my husband stopped one night after work they were getting ready to close so he went in and placed our order the food was cooked perfectly the ladies were all nice even giving us scraps for our dog!! They were a genuine good bunch!!! And that’s all anyone could ask for!! Thanks ladies!!!

No more chocolate chip pancakes made me sad, it’s been awhile since we had gone there. That chocolate chip pancakes is what’s bright us back to here every now and then. Nothing really drawing me there anymore. Oh well, well make them at home. Waitress was sweet but not attentive, never checked to see if good was okay or all my hubby to refill his drink. He did get one to go when her requested it so she was very accommodating.

Only giving a one star due to zero not being an option. After ordering while we waited for 35-40 minutes before the food was brought to us, all of which was WRONG we had to constantly fight off flies. When I asked to speak to the manager she refused to come speak to me, even when I went to the counter she refused to acknowledge me. There is black mold in the ceiling right as you walk into this establishment along with other bad spots.

Went there and was going to dine in. 1 of the waitresses says Tina it’s your turn and frown and gave me a bad look. I guess Tina did not want to wait on me because she was shaking her head also. Tried taking to manager and she said I’m busy don’t have time to talk. She turned away and keep doing what she was doing. Very disrespectful and disappointing. I will never spend another dime.

I was at huddle house in Alex City on July 30. Our waitress never came to check on us after we got our food. Had to eat pancakes and hash browns with nothing to drink. After I had eaten about 3/4 of my hash browns I noticed a hair on my plate. We flagged down our waitress and told her. She said ok. The manager came over and asked what the problem was. We showed her the hair. She said ok I will take off the hash browns. She gave a 50% of discount. I suggested everyone behind the counter around food wear a hair net. She said well the cook has one on. I couldn’t tell but nobody handling food had on hairnets. I will not be back.
