I have breakfast nearly every weekend with my kids at a Huddle House if there’s one nearby. I didn’t have my kids with me today, but the food was good, as usual. This review isn’t about the food though. My server Kimberly was outstanding! She was very attentive. My drinks never got low, and anything I could think of I needed… she already had it on the table before I needed it. Service is the reason I don’t go to a certain Huddle House restaurant, but Kimberly is the reason I will be back to this one. Plus, she’s cute too

Audrey took our drink order and went to the back. Ten minutes later we were still waiting on our drinks. The place only had two customers so it was not busy. We had to flag another waitress to get our drinks (this waitress was very polite even though it was obvious that she was going off shift & she was delayed by helping us). Audrey finally emerged to take our order, sort of. Out of the 3 in our group, only 1 person’s order was filled correctly. I had to argue to get the hash browns my Ranch Platter came with. Then I had to send them back because they were just mushy potatoes. When the second plate arrived, it was still just a pile of wet potatoes. We were never asked if everything was ok or if we needed a refill. Our waitress had disappeared into the back again and left us alone for around 30 minutes. There wasn’t another waitress for me to flag down.

My mom and I had breakfast here today and it was really good. Service was good and food. Kaydee was our server and she was very sweet and Maggie was the cook and she did an excellent job with our meals. If you are going to have Huddle House in Douglas, this is the one to hit up.

We stopped in for breakfast Tuesday morning at the Ocilla location in Douglas. Very disappointed. We both ordered pancakes. They were very small and thin. The pecans were thicker than the pancakes. Not at all fluffy. Service was ok. Not real friendly waitresses.

We had the opportunity of being served by Austin. It was his first night as server. He did such a good job you wouldn’t know he was new to food service. Our food was accurate and good, even with special requests. Only one slightly negative. The sign on the door said open until midnight. However, because of staffing shortage they closed at ten. Our service was not impacted by it, however, we did go in after nine. So we closed the place down. Recommended signage on door for updated times.
